Super Thursday in Dubai is regarded at the best carnival race meeting and a major preparation for runners aiming to run on World Cup night.
Each race consists of races that mirror the World Cup night card and South Africa has representatives in all but one of the thoroughbred races.
The standout runners with winning chances seem to be Diana's Choice in the sprint event, Honour Devil in the mile dirt contest, Asiatic Boy in the 200m dirt event and Jay Peg in the 1777m event on the turf.
