Frankie Dettori celebrated with his trademark flying dismount as Schiaparelli gave him a first Group One success of the season in the Gran Premio del Jockey Club at San Siro in Milan.
The six-year-old son of Monsun took the Group One prize in 2007 when trained in Germany and doubled up for Godolphin in tremendous style by making all the running.
His length and three-quarters call over Sant'Antonio gave Sheikh Mohammed's operation a Pattern-race double following the victory of Zeitoper in the Group Three Prix de Conde at Longchamp earlier in the afternoon.
Winning trainer Saeed bin Suroor told www.godolphin.com: "Schiaparelli won easily and was in the right race on the right ground.
"He enjoyed his run and Frankie Dettori rode him very well. There are no plans at the moment."
