RACE 1:Maiden Plate (F & M) 1000m Bend

QUI SERA has fair form and should not be too far off her maiden win. Not a strong field. CELTICS CLASH tends to fade. Watch the betting on the following first timers SHE-VAR, ENJA and TIME AFTER TIME.

RACE 2:Maiden Plate 2000m Bend

ALIF has had two promising runs in his last two starts over 1900m and 2000m. He was running on in both. FORT NOBLE has improved nicely in his last two. The extra will suit. IMVUME will be involved in the finish. SUMMER DOT COM disappointed when setting the pace over shorter. Better this distance. DAY BY DAY has placed this C & D but needs to find a better finish to win.

RACE 3:Maiden Plate (F & M) 1400m Bend

MINWA from the Mike De Kock yard made an excellent debut last time. Was finishing strongly and has a decent shout on that debut run. BYCULLA is improving and has been running on late.
MAPHIKO is another one who will be doing her best work late. (Dennis Drier/Sean Cormack) SUPER SUNDAY has yet to run a bad race in five starts. Definite place chance. ENRICHMENT is improving with every run and was running on last time.

RACE 4:Pinnacle Stakes 1400m Bend

TROPICAL EMPIRE has raced against the best in the country but his form is a little inconsistent. PIQUET has more to do this class but is nicely weighted with a fair chance. DON'T TELL TITCH has modest form and can sneak a placing. THANDOLWAMI has faced far stronger but is badly off form.THANKS DAD disappointed in the Xmas handicap last time but his form before that was good.

RACE 5:MR 72 Hcp (F & M) 1000m Bend

RISE AGAIN ran a good post maiden last time when running on over 1200m. First time over 1000m. TRAVEL LIGHT also ran on in her post maiden last time. Chance if repeating. SUNSET BEAT may need to confirm her maiden win last time out. VOID is never too far back but tends to fade. ROYAL LINE will have more to find on recent form but is a C & D winner.

RACE 6:Graduation Plate 2000m Bend

ORBISON has very good form and will be doing his best work late. The extra will suit. DOLOMITE won his last two including his post maiden last time this C & D. Runs on well. HAWK EAGLE ran on well last time to win over shorter. Perhaps a doubt this distance. EAST COAST GOLD is back at his best track. Chance on that. SAVANAH PARK has lost form but has claims on earlier form.

RACE 7:MR 90 Hcp (F & M) 1600m Bend

The race has an open look about it with the scratching of CASE STATED.  TEA BREAK has improved vastly since moving from Kimberley. Loves the distance and stayed on well last time. SYLVAN SHADE has improved last two and has a chance with an apprentice claiming 4kg. Will be running on. SMANGALISO has not won in a while but may be coming to hand. KUSHONI LANGA won well last time and has a shout again. BORN IN SPACE faded over further. Better this distance.

RACE 8:MR 72 Hcp 1600m Bend

OMEGA WARRIOR has won his last three, two of which were over tonight's distance. Will be doing best work late. NORSE SKY has found good form and will be running on at the end. BIG LIGHT has found improved form last two. FORT ANNOUNCE ran a very good second in his post maiden last time. Chance on that run. FROST BOUND was running on when showing massive improvement last time.
