RACE 1:Maiden Juvenile Plate 1000m Bend

Trainer Justin Snaith could fill the first three places. Those that have run have moderate form. I like the look of the Dynasty first timer DYNASTAR. Check the betting. Stable companion KYLURIAN should improve on a fair debut. The other stable companion SPECIAL TREASURE also makes his debut. Watch the betting. Mike Bass sends out a well bred colt JOE'S LEGACY. Once again check the betting. Of the rest MODUS OPERANDI and JOHNNIE B may be best.

RACE 2:Maiden Plate 1000m Bend

A difficult race. RAMLA is not one to get excited about but she has placed this C & D and could be involved with the finish. Respect ASSEMBLY POINT. She has placed this track and that must count for something. AFRICAN VISION is never far back. STORM ALOOF has placed the distance but this is her first start at the track. TOGA BEARER makes her debut. She was a R220 000 purchase. Joey Ramsden trains.

RACE 3:Maiden Plate (F & M) 1400m Bend

ON THE GREEN will be running on and she travels well this distance. This is her first run at the track. NATURAL HIGH has placed second four times from only six starts. She has the widest draw but must be considered. MISS MAYHEM is consistent and has placed this track. DELLA SCALA is moderate but can earn along with GOLDEN GLAMOUR.

RACE 4:Graduation Plate 1400m Bend

ICEMBERG should have his last run ignored as he lost three lengths at the start. He has placed at this track when staying on. SEALED ORDERS was running on strongly over the distance last time. Big chance on that run. SOVEREIGN WOOD was unlucky when being interfered with close home. Were it not for that he may have won. IMPERIAL FOX is not one to rely on but is holding form well. STOREY BRIDGE is holding form well and has chance in a very moderate field.

RACE 5:MR 72 Hcp (F & M) 1000m Bend

A very weak field and anything is likely. Reserve runner SOUND OF SILENCE has the best form in the field. Watch if she indeed has the opportunity to run.  BARILOCHE could be running on and is a C & D winner. OYSTER BAY has only won once in thirty eight starts but has been showing some fair form of late. ANGEL TOUCH has faced stronger. Give CRESSIDA a chance as she tries the blinkers. The only two-time winner in the field.

RACE 6:MR 88 Hcp )(F & M) 1600m Bend

At last. A decent horse on today's card. SUNSATIONAL was not disgrace when finishing less than four lengths behind Mother Russia in the Grade 1 Paddock Stakes in sixth place. A repeat of that run should see her difficult to beat. SQUASHY JOY will be running on and is a distance winner. Rises in class. VICTORINE is holding form well but tends to fade. TASSIE BELLE ran on nicely to win last time. Definite money chance. Of the balance ATLANTIC STORM may earn a small cheque.

RACE 7:MR 73 Hcp (F & M) 1600m Bend

SUNBED ran a very good post maiden last time when running on. May prefer further, but looks to have more improvement to come. QUEEN'S PAGEANT may need the run but ran a very good post maiden last time. Runs very well this track. SCARLET GRITS surprised last time when running on to win over shorter. Can repeat. LASSITER and DIVA DANCER could fight it out for minor money.

RACE 8:Maiden Plate 2000m Bend

FORT LODGE will enjoy the extra and he did stay on over shorter last time. Watch this distance. DOCCI'S BOOTS has had his chances but has a good shout on earlier form. Biggest threat should be SCENT OF SUCCESS who was running on late despite the slow start. EVITA'S DARLING showed big improvement last time when running on. Chance if repeating. FORBES is making slow but steady progress.
