Pocket Power will be bound for his 4th season in Kwa-Zulu Natal when he leaves with Mike’s string of 28 horses later next month.
There was recent talk amongst the stable that we were going to nominate him for the Gr2 Gomma Gomma challenge in Johannesburg, but Mike has subsequently decided against the move. “His first run back over the 2000m trip at high altitude is a bit too risky at this point in his career”, said Mike.
