RACE 1:Maiden Plate (F & M) 1450m Bend

BULLION FEVER has good place form and will be running on. The draw may count against her. SKIDDER is consistent and was running on last time over shorter. Has only placed at this track. The blinkers go on DOUBLE DAZZLE and she did show some improvement last time when staying on. COLOURED GEM showed big improvement last time. Piere Strydom rides. PASCHA also made significant improvement last time in a workriders event.

RACE 2:Maiden Plate 1450m Bend

PACMAN has the form this C & D to win but he has lost form and would be a surprise winner. THE WHITE HOUSE faded over further last time but has a strong chance over the shorter distance and had a good second on debut two runs back. SCENT OF MONEY must have a chance with Anton Marcus riding for Gavin Van Zyl. NATIONAL FLEET runs well at this track with two thirds from two starts. The extra may suit. MAKE SPACE showed considerable improvement last time. Chance on that run.

RACE 3:MR 72 Hcp 1450m Bend

SERAPH runs best this C & D but has just lost form slightly in recent races. LIAN DANCER took sixteen races to win his maiden. He then followed up by winning again. He will be doing his best work late. SUN EMPEROR has good form and the apprentice allowance will help. SPEED KEEPER won well this C & D last time. Chance of repeating. Respect PARLOTONE with Piere Strydom taking the ride. He is C & D suited but has more to do to win.

RACE 4:MR 88 Hcp 1800m Bend

GIANT'S FOOTPRINT (Anton Marcus/Charles Laird) won well last time when running on over 1600m. He has been rested for three months and should race fresh. MYSTIC loves this track and his form here has been excellent. He travels this distance for the first time and all his runs have been up to 1600m. Piere Strydom rides for Sean Tarry. CHICO AZUL did not show against stronger last time. Should prefer this company and can make a bold showing. TORAH generally runs on but have more to find to win. RUCKUS runs best this C & D but is badly off form. Any form return could see him earn some cheque.

RACE 5:MR 88 Hcp (F & M) 1800m Bend

WOOD MANOR (Charles Laird/Anton Marcus) is a very useful filly with very good form. She has only won over today's distance and runs well on sand. Very good chance in this line up. BELLA JET did show some improvement last time. BEDLOE'S ISLAND (Sean Tarry/Piere Strydom) has been racing against far stronger. She has yet to race on sand but has not been in any sort of form lately. Do not ignore here and she could end up surprising. MAT GOLD is back at her favourite track. She did not show at Turffontein last time. May improve. RAMBO'S BELLE has shown some improvement of late and could make the quartet or trifecta pay if finishing in the money.

RACE 6:Autumn Sand Sprint (MR) (R125 000) 1200m Bend

PHUNYUKA has already won a small feature this C & D. He has impressive form this C & D with four wins, two seconds and a third in only seven starts this C & D. Will be finding a good finish at the end. SANDY BEACH also runs well this C & D but may be found wanting with top weight of 62.5kg. Piere Strydom rides WAITANGI for Geoff Woodruff. He has run once on sand at this track and won that very comfortably. Not out of it. DEEP WATER (Anton Marcus/Charles Laird) could have a say in the finish. Drawn two from the outside but has shown some improvement of late. FUZZY CUZZY is never too far back and may place at best.

RACE 7:Woodland Sprint (MR) (R125 000) 1200m Bend

ROSETTE (Charles Laird/Anton Marcus) tries this track for the first time. Form is not great and stable companion RESUME has the better form but Anton Marcus has opted to ride the former may suggest that she will be the stable choice in this race. ROMANTIC GIRL is holding form well and has won this C & D. APPLE PRINCESS usually runs on over further but has won over the distance before. Outside chance. BELLOTTO FLASH must be respected on a very good win last time, but that was against weaker. WISHING STAR travels well at this track and is a C & D winner. Could fight it out for a minor placing.

RACE 8:MR 64 Hcp (F & M) 1200m Bend

 LADY AMEERA has some decent form and has only won over the distance with a 1 from 1 this C & D. Runs on this distance. BROWN'S HILL tends to fade but this is not a strong field and can hold on to win. SINGLE MINDED has improved in her last two. Well weighted with an apprentice claim. POLO has been knocking at the door for her second win. She may improve on her first run at this track last time. OUTDOOR GIRL has faced far stronger and has been weighted accordingly. Form not good though but can sneak in on experience against stronger.
