RACE 1:Maiden Juvenile Plate 1160m Straight

SAINT ENOUGH showed good pace last time before fading. Ran better in his first two. The blinkers go on. ROYAL CHARGER dis nor show over further last time. Consider on first two runs. BERMUDA TRIANGLE made a decent debut last time and should improve with runs. Watch the betting on two first timers. They are WILLIE GUNN and ACT OF PARLIAMENT.

INFALLIBLE has improved in her last two efforts. May improve further. FLIGHT SPECIALIST is bound to improve on a fair debut run last time. TIGER CREEK also looks likely to improve after a moderate debut last time. Watch the betting on STYLISH IMAGE and LIVING THE DREAM who make their debut today. Not much for them to beat.

RACE 3:Maiden Juvenile Plate 1400m Bend

COLCA CANYON may be a reserve runner but his run against winners last time was truly very admirable. He must be considered if he gets a chance. SHEA SHEA did not show on sand last time. His debut run two runs back. BRIAN'S WAGER did not show over further last time. Claims on his first three runs. Watch the betting on the first timer STRIKE A MILLION. D'ARTAGNAN may be improving again and can fill a placing at least.

RACE 4:Maiden Plate 1400m Bend

MO' PEPPER was an unlucky loser last time. His run before that was with blinkers which did not suit. Respect. INDIAN FIRECRACKER looks likely to win his maiden soon and has a good shout. LAHAK was running on strongly last time when showing good improvement. CONVICTION has shown something in his last two runs and can earn a decent cheque. MOHAMBA is likely to improve on a very moderate debut last time.

RACE 5:MR 72 Hcp 1400m Bend

FAIR BEAU is never too far behind. tends to fade late though. CAPPIE (Sean Tarry) has found previous better form and has a shout. GAME SHOW will be running and has some decent current form.CANON 'N CORDITE tends to fade badly but must have a shout if holding on. KINGS DESTINY may be ready to show further improvement.THOMOND was returning from a break last run and would have needed the run.

RACE 6:MR 96 Hcp 1600m Bend

EDDINGTON is not a confident choice but he is ideally C & D suited and has faced some stronger sorts. LAKE ALBERT has been in very good form in his last four starts, winning three and finishing second once. FREIBURG must have a chance back at this course and over this distance. Does not inspire much only because he fades badly. ROYAL EXPRESS does not run his best races at this track but must have a shout. BHEKINKOSI was running on over 1800m last time and should go into the mix.

RACE 7:Grade 1 Vodacom Durban July (MR) (R3 000 000) 2200m Bend

BOLD SILVANO has impressed since joining the Mike De Kock yard. Will be fighting out at the line. Big chance if repeating his win in the Greyville 1900. IRISH FLAME is in top form. He has won his last three. He beat Pierre Jourdan in the Derby at Turffontein in heavy going in May, followed up by winning the Daily News at this track and finally the Derby at Clairwood last time. Will be doing his best work late. If the going is soft, then his chances would be enhanced.  FORT VOGUE has Anton Marcus riding for Mike Bass who knows how to win this race. Must be included. RUSSIAN SAGE may not win but I do fancy this one to run into the top four. He has been holding form well. FLYING TRISTRAM has improved in his last two and looks to be well handicapped. Can place.

RACE 8:MR 90 Hcp 1000m Straight

COURAGE is back over his favourite C & D. He tends to fade late though. QUIRITUS held on to win very easily last time. SECOND WORLD could complete the trifecta and has run on before. SPECIAL AWARD has some good form but this is not his more favoured track. PRIDE 'N JOY is coming to hand.

RACE 9:MR72 Hcp 1000m Straight

FEATURE FINDER has a good chance on his latest effort when running on over today's distance. LITTLE TICH rarely runs a bad race and will be right there at the finish. He has yet to show at this track in six starts but he hasn't run here for quite some time and his recent improvement may see him through. CASTANELLI will have more to do for the win but has a place chance. JOSHUA'S CALL may be ready to improve. EL KAPITAINE is also coming back to some form and has run well this C & D.
