RACE 1:Maiden Plate (3-Year-Old-Fillies) 1200m Bend

DANTER made a promising debut last time. Should improve on that run. BREAKING NEWS also made a nice debut last time and should fight this one out. VINTAGE CHARM made a moderate debut and can also improve. Watch the betting on the first timers ANATEVKA and ELEGANTLY WASTED.

RACE 2:Work Riders Maiden Plate (F & M) 1800m Bend

SEA PASSAGE will be running on and must have claims in a weak work riders maiden plate for fillies and mares. MANDULO has had the odd decent run but is not consistent. She has placed over the distance. MAGIC SHOW was running on last time and must have a shout. CONDALEZA is not out of it in this company. The balance do not make much appeal but the mount of top work rider Jackson Feni, EARLY RISER may surprise.

RACE 3:Maiden Plate 1600m Bend

CALL OPTION must have a very good chance on his vastly improved latest effort when running on to finish second this C & D. EXTREMIST looks likely to improve on a fair debut last time. BEETLE BAILEY showed good improvement last time when raiding in KZN over this distance at Scottsville. Chance if repeating. ROMAN WARRIOR has improved in his last two starts and may force himself into the top placings. CALANISH also have the chance to earn a cheque.

RACE 4:Maiden Plate 2600m Bend

A STAR IS BORN usually runs on well and he has placed this C & D and should fight this out with AFRICAN GIANT who has been running close in his last four starts. Tends to fade late but has the form to go close, if not win. GARRISON has improved since setting a good pace. Chance if not fading. HARRY PRINCE may improve with a few more runs under his belt. Place chance at best. RUSSETT is not out of it in terms of the places.

RACE 5:Novice Plate (F & M) 1450m Bend

DESOLATE VIEW won her maiden last time. That was at the eleventh attempt. In her favour is the fact that she had good form before that win. She can follow up today, especially after her impressive maiden win. KNOCK AND ANNOUNCE won her maiden last time when finding a good finish. She was heavily backed on that day, her second start. She should challenge. GIGGS may be ready to show more. CELESTIAL FLAG needs to show more for the win while POLLYANNA may benefit from an apprentice claim of 4kg.

RACE 6:MR 76 Hcp (F & M) 1000m Bend

Not an easy race. REBECCA SHARP has some in-and-out form but on her day can go close on her form this C & D. DELIGHTFUL DIVA appears to be coming back into some form. She was doing some good work late last time. MASEKELA is never too far behind and must have claims. Both INDIGO VIOLET and BLINGLE BELLS appear to run their best races in Kimberley but they should both be considered for the Pick Six.

RACE 7:MR 90 Hcp 1600m Bend

SOVEREIGN WOOD has been running on in his last two over shorter. He should prefer the extra and goes for the hat trick in this event. ROYAL ARROW has improved in his last three, by winning his maiden and his last start. BACK SCRATCH is never too far back and generally likes to run on. OMEGA WARRIOR loves this distance and is a serious contender for top honours. WINKING JACK must be respected on some consistent form.

RACE 8:MR 74 Hcp 1600m Bend

GREAT KHAN is in good form and could continue with the good form. UYAGIYA runs best this C & D and should go well. RED AMMO may be ready to improve. KEY MAJOR has more to do for the win but can run into the first three.  Ignore the last run of ROLLING CLOUDS who faded badly but has some good form before that. Should be running on.

RACE 9:MR 68 Hcp (F & M) 1800m Bend

OVER THE ANVIL has good post maiden form and should go close in this field. A LITTLE TIBSY won this C & D two runs back but was interfered with over the C & D last time. Can make amends. CYCLONE BARBARA has a chance on an improved latest effort when running on after having lost two lengths at the start. DIAMANTE may be finding some of her earlier form. ETERNAL GLORY has been showing some signs that she could be on the way up again.

RACE 10:MR 68 Hcp 1800m Bend

SUN EMPEROR has won this C & D and is currently in good form. Will be running on. THE MANCHILD has claims on some decent form in his most recent starts and was running on late last time. MAJESTIC CIRCLE looks set to win her third race soon. She is holding form well but hasn't won in a while. RADIANT ROCK tends to fade late but cannot be ignored. PLATIN is inconsistent but can place.
