RACE 1:Maiden Plate 1200m Straight

BLUE ON BLUE is the form of the race and he looks the one to beat. MARGARET COURT has run two very encouraging races and she has to have every chance here. GATUSSO also has some nice form in her career. She should be right there. JALMOND has been well supported in the betting. Watch for a big debut. OUTFOXED is another first timer who could be anything.

RACE 2:Maiden Plate 1200m Straight

THE SHARK made a very good debut last time out. He looks hard to beat. LORD FORT WOOD was just denied on debut last time by a nice sort. He is a big runner. FOREIGN SOVEREIGN improved well last time out after a decent debut the run before. He should fight it out. M'LORDS THROAT is a well bred first timer. Watch the betting. BASTILLE DAY can sneak into minor money.

RACE 3:Maiden Plate 1000m Straight

SPELLCASTER is a very well bred first timer. He doesn't have to be too good to win it. KYLURIAN has let the team down before. He is good enough to run a big race here. ROXHILL has been getting better lately and he could run a big race. ABOVE DECK is a battling sort but could sneak into the placings. SHOT GUN is a son of Var meaning he will have no problems over this trip. Watch the betting on this debutant.

RACE 4:MR 80 Hcp 1000m Straight

JUNGLE JIM is the form of the race and looks to have a bright future. He looks the part here. KAYHALADIN has run well to some good sorts and 1.50 lengths to JUNGLE JIM recently. He should be right there. VANDROSS is slowly coming back to best. He is decent and has to be respected. LINAGE has a little to find on his last run but he should earn. SHEEZA BABE has some to find to win it but has place claims here.

RACE 5:Graduation Plate 1400m Bend

COOL CONQUEROR has run very well with some strong sorts. He looks the one to beat. GREEN KEEPER has some nice form and ran a top race in P.E last time to a top class sort. He has a big chance with a light weight. KAMBROOK came back to form last time with a good win. He can follow up. TOP SELLER also won well last time but has been rested. He may need it. SLINGA MALINGA has each way claims here.

RACE 6:MR 92 Hcp (F&M) 1400m Bend

CLARION CALL is the form of the race. She has beaten some decent sorts lately and looks the one to beat. PEONIE PARADISE has been below best in her last couple but at best she could win this. TIMELESS has started to come to hand in her last few. She could be the dark horse here. SEAL OF APPROVAL is top weight here. Her last two have been below par but at best she can go close. SHAMROCK SPRING has a little to find to win this in this eight horse field.

RACE 7:MR 84 Hcp (F&M) 2400m Bend

SPLINTER ran a good race to a top class sort last time out and she will be hard to beat on that run. FINAL APPROACH was beaten by SPLINTER in that race. There no reason not to suggest she can reverse that neck beating. COLD HEARTED CAT has very inconsistent form. She can go close at best. FACT NOT FICTION has been close up since her maiden win. She can continue some good form. REPTILIAN has an each way chance here.

RACE 8:MR 74 Hcp 1600m Bend

BROWN PENNY ran a very close race last time to a nice sort. He could win this as he is well overdue. SOLO TRAVELLER had good maiden form until an easy win last time. He can follow up. MAHOIHOI could be better over further ut he could be a threat here. FOREST CHILD is never beaten by far and she will win soon. TERRY LISTER won well over further last time. He is probably best over 2000m and up.

RACE 9: Maiden Plate 1600m Bend

MAINSPRING is the one to beat here as his last two have been close. He will take a power of beating. KERSEN has a chance on his good penultimate effort. BALL PARK has been beaten into third by 2 lengths in his last three starts. Big chance that will happen again. LUCKY MOON has scope for improvement on a moderate debut last time out. VIKING EMPIRE seems best at Durbanville.
