RACE 1:Maiden Plate 1200m Straight

ENVEE disappointed last time out but on his debut run he must have a big chance. CLASSIC NIGHTMARE ran a much better race last time out and if he shows that he will be involved. TANGERINE DREAMS ran a much better race in Kimberley last time out. If he shows that again he can run well. CLARISSA and DUVET are well bred first timers from good stables. Watch the betting.

RACE 2:Maiden Plate 1200m Bend

WAGING WAR is the form of the race. He looks a top bet against these. MUSICAL MANOR was beaten by a very smart sort on debut last time out. He has been rested but should be in the money. EXULTATION hasn't been beaten by far in his last few. He should be right there. BEIJING is a well bred first timer. Watch here. FERVINO can sneak into minor money on a good last run.

RACE 3:Maiden Plate 2400m Bend

ROMAN ART was much improved last time out. He should relish the trip and go close against these. GIMMEAWINK is a battling maiden but he has some form to recommend. FIRST SAMURAI always runs a decent race. He should earn here. RADO'S CLASSIC has some weak latest form but he can still run well. CAMDEN BLUE has no show on debut but can start to improve.

RACE 4:MR 87 Hcp 1000m Straight

BALLANDO ran a very good race to Hear The Drums in his penultimate. He is very honest and could be the one to beat. LIBERATED ran well in Kimberley's big sprint where he beat a couple useful sorts. He should be involved. SCULPTOR aims for the hat-trick here. He has a little to do to win but should be right there. BERMUDA PRINCE is consistent and should run into the money. SPECTRE BOY is in with a light weight. He can pop up into the money.

RACE 5:MR 70 Hcp 1000m Straight

VINESSA'S KANI is a blinkers strike here and gets the stable jockey. He would have needed his last and penultimate was against much stronger. AL CARUSO has been running up close in his last few. He should fight it out. THE FORD may be getting better. His last few show he can run a big race here. CORAL HEAD was beaten 3 lengths by a top class sort. She may have a little to find to win. NATIONAL POWER improved well last time out and needs to confirm it.

RACE 6:MR 104 Hcp 1200m Straight

OCEANS AWAY is a very good sprinter. He beat Hear The Drums in his last start and should be the one to beat. BANDOL has been in very good form except for a shocker in his penultimate. He has won five from six starts. He has to be respected. FINANCE MINISTER is honest and is in here with a light weight. He could be the upset in the race. KINGS TROOP is battling for his next win but is good enough to place. REFINED IN FIRE is very good but wants further.

RACE 7:Founders Trophy 1600m Bend

DJ DETZKY won a very strong race last time. He is best over this trip and will be hard to beat. SURFIN' USA is a course specialist and always runs a good race anyway. He must go close again. DAY OF THE PIPER needed his last run and ran a very good race. He should be right there. CELTIC FIRE can win this. He has plenty class but may need another run. TIME AND LOVE is best at Arlington but he still is good enough to challenge here.

RACE 8:Novice Plate 1600m Bend

PORT CURTIS is top rated here and well warranted too. He let everyone down last time but deserves another chance. LOCKHEED won his maiden last time but ran good maidens to some successful sorts. He should run well. SPORTING LAD is consistent and can upset them. MIDNIGHT MAYHEM improved last time out and should run into the money.  REBEL MOON looks the best of the rest.
