The following is a summary of decisions that were made by the Licensing Committee at their meeting:-
1. The Committee agreed to grant an extension of Club Jockey’s licence to Tim Clark and Mark Du Plessis for the period 2 February 2012 until the conclusion of the current 2011/2012 racing season, inclusive; and to Jeff Lloyd (pictured) for the period 2 February 2012 until 18 March 2012, inclusive.
2. The Committee agreed to grant, subject to the usual formalities, a Club Jockey’s licence to Umberto Rispoli for the period 20 February 2012 until 29 April 2012, both dates inclusive; and to Andreas Suborics for the period 1 March 2012 until the conclusion of the current 2011/2012 racing season, inclusive. 3. The Committee noted the performance of all Trainers up to and inclusive of race meeting 34 of the current 2011/2012 racing season conducted on Wednesday, 11 January 2012.
4. The Committee noted the performance of all Apprentice, Club, Freelance and Stable Retained Jockeys up to and inclusive of race meeting 34 of the current 2011/2012 racing season conducted on Wednesday, 11 January 2012.
