Cape Thoroughbred Sales is pleased to announce the inaugural Cape Ready to Run sale to be held at Kenilworth Racecourse on the 23rd November 2012. The inaugural sale will be will be accompanied by a subscription to a Two million rand bonus race.
"The Ready to Run format is increasingly popular around the racing world" said CEO Robin Bruss.
"This sale is a natural extension of our policy to host high class events with the aim of expanding the bloodstock market to an international clientele,” he said. The bonus incentive will be welcomed as the second richest race in the Cape.
Gallops will be run at Kenilworth Racecourse on the Sunday morning of the 18th November.
Cape Thoroughbred Sales Pty Ltd was formed a year ago and its directors include many of South Africa's top breeders, including Andreas Jacobs (Maine Chance), Markus Jooste (Klawervlei), Mike Sharkey (Highlands), Gaynor Rupert (Drakenstein), Mary Slack (Wilgerbosdrift), Mick Goss (Summerhill), Ashley Parker (Ascot) and Craig Carey (Arc en Ciel).
