Brendon Morgenrood is set to leave Mauritius after being dismissed by his stable, the Alain Perdrau yard.
Morgenrood missed the latest meeting due to illness but it has emerged that he was out the previous night. The stable apparently took exception to this.
The likeable South African will likely settle back nicely at home as he is a strong and capable rider with loads of ability.
He had 52 rides of which he won eight races and finished second on eleven occassions.
