RACE 1:Maiden Juvenile Plate (F) 1200m Bend

OH SO EASY was running on well last time. on top of this her form has been good and she looks to be the one to follow. BETWEEN THE COVERS improved by eight lengths in her second start last time when staying on. Will prefer even further. QUEEN OF CASH could prefer this shorter trip. MISS AFRICA will need to repeat her penultimate run, the only good run in three. NICCI'S VICTORY improved nicely last time. Further improvement could be forthcoming.

RACE 2:Maiden Plate (F & M) 1000m Straight

TAJ MAHAL TRIP appears to prefer this trip and has had two very good runs over 1000m. Should go a long way to winning the first leg of the PA. SHADOW PINK is very consistent and has placed this C & D. CAPE FLORAL has steady form over further. Not sure to enjoy this trip, but consider on form and nothing else! HOPES AND DREAMS is never too far back but has some improving to do to win. NUNS NARRATIVE could be losing form but has a money chance on previous form.

RACE 3:Maiden Plate 1400m Bend

SENOR DOBA has the form to win but is drawn widest of all. QUI SECRET had good form before his latest effort which was most disappointing. Chance if reproducing previous form. SEVENHILLSOFROME should not be ignored. Likely upset material despite mediocre form. SANDY CELEBRE made a decent debut last time and could improve on a fourth place.  OPEN ARMS makes his debut and the betting is as good a guide as any.

RACE 4:MR 70 Hcp 1400m Bend
 
THE BERRYMAN has been racing very well over 1600m. Despite this drop in trip he has won and placed over 1400m before. Good value. VAROMA is battling for his second win but is never far back. Apprentice claim of 4kg will help. RIVERET has won this C & D and has yet to run a bad race. BID ME does not have much form coming into this race but she could score with such a light mass. Ran on two runs ago. MIDNIGHT BET is well suited to this C & D.

RACE 5:MR 70 Hcp (F & M) 2400m Bend

BUSTOPHER JONES is not the most reliable horse around but he could be crying out for this type of distance. IN LOCO PARENTIS is also unreliable but he ran well in his penultimate. TOTTENHAM is never too far back and he has handled this distance well in the past when finishing a close up fourth. DETZKY'S TAO could improve with blinkers this afternoon. WOODRIDGE has battled to win for the second time but her form has been consistent. Could earn.

RACE 6:MR 78 Hcp 1800m Bend

SUNNY SPAIN has only raced in two features since winning his maiden three runs back. He was not disgraced in the first feature but fell away badly against far stronger last time. Should prefer the company this afternoon. ALIF won very easily last time and current form has improved markedly. TROUBLE AGAIN did not go on with it last time. Previous runs over shorter were better. ROUSED did not show in a feature last time. Chance in this field. OZZIE DUDE has also taken a drop in class in recent runs. Respect.

RACE 7:MR 74 Hcp (F & M) 1600m Bend

NIGHT STYLE takes a huge drop in class. Good chance if finding a good finish again. HAIL THE HEARTY improved against stronger last time. Should go close in this field. PEBBLE PATH is never far back. Apprentice claim of 4kg will assist no end. SURGING STAR also drops in class but did not show against stronger last time. WHAT A ROSE must be respected on an improved latest effort last time.

RACE 8:MR 66 Hcp (F & M) 1000m Straight

FIELD STAR has steady form and should challenge in a race such as this. The two-year-old, HUSHED ANGEL has very good post maiden form and on form alone should be one to beat. The only concern would be her age. SECRET QUEST loves this C & D and usually runs on better over the 1000m distance. STAFF NURSE won her maiden by four lengths last time. Chance if not needing to confirm. SPORTSGIRL did not show last time but the blinkers will be fitted this afternoon.
