RACE 1:Workriders Maiden Plate 1800m Bend

MING WARRIOR was running on last time when showing a thirteen length improvement. May improve more. SIR SWAYZE has fair form and has a top class workrider aboard. HENRY HIGGINS is never too far back and must have a shout. IMPERCEPTIBLE tends to lack extra. LAMOTTA has moderate form but has placed this C & D.

RACE 2:Maiden Plate (F & M) 1450m Bend

ERIN makes her debut. Keep an eye on the betting. She is well bred. MATILDA'S LOVE ran on strongly to finish second last time over 1400m. One to watch! IMPERIAL EMPRESS has the best form in the race but the trip may be too far. CONSERVATIONIST has improved in her last two starts and on that should be right there. WOODLAND FIRE is also one that is improving and she did stay on last time.

RACE 3:Maiden Plate 1450m Bend

WHITE SQUALL has lost form but has a shout on a very good second this C & D three runs back. Chance with an apprentice claim of 4kg. CALLANDOR has also lost form but could be a factor at her best track. INDIAN GIANT has fair form and she has been staying on. Made her Gauteng debut last time. KEAGAN'S JET made a decent debut last time. Has a chance if confirming that run. MIESQUE'S BREEZE has had two decent fourth placings to date. Not out of it.

RACE 4:Maiden Plate (F & M) 1450m Bend
 
FIVE RINGS has finished second in her three last starts. Bound to give another solid showing this afternoon. JUST A FLING improved by ten lengths last time. That comes after having improved by twenty four lengths the race before! NAUTICAL has been racing over further. Is better over the shorter trips. JUNIOR WIFE did not show on debut when finishing a distant fifth. Should improve. RED OAK is one who looks likely to improve.

RACE 5:MR 68 Hcp 1600m Bend

MO DA DI DU has faced stronger. This will be his third Gauteng run. Had some decent KZN form. ATROCHEN is inconsistent but his latest effort showed some improvement. A danger. FOREST OF DREAMS is improving and he loves this C & D. ROYAL EXPRESS won in a similar field over a bit further last time. Could repeat as he has already won this C & D. ROMAN WARRIOR has only moderate form but will benefit from an apprentice claim of 4kg.

RACE 6:MR 70 Hcp 2600m Bend

VENTURE is showing consistent form. Won against slightly stronger last time. Should fight this one out again. Has run well this C & D. WINGED LEGEND has steady form against stronger. Has also won this C & D and must have a shout. MANCHURIAN TIGER has steady form and has a chance if finding extra. TRUE BLOOD ran a decent post maiden run last time. Is sure to improve. ROYAL OVERTURE is coming to hand. Money chance.

RACE 7:MR 80 Hcp (F & M) 1800m Bend

DANCE ALLEY raced well against stronger opposition last time. Has a good chance, despite the 60kg she has to carry. Stays on well. ELODIE has not won in a while but could improve over this shorter trip. ALESSANDRIA raced against stronger last time. Ran well in open company last time but she may prefer further. SABRINA'S BABY has been racing moderately against weaker but only has 52kg to carry.n DESTINY'S LADY has not won in a while but has a money chance.

RACE 8:MR 86 Hcp (F & M) 1450m Bend

JET IN THE SKY did not show in a feature last time but before that won two consecutive races, both this C & D. Should be happier this company and should be running on. CUT THE RIBBON won her last two when running on smartly. Has won this C & D. Will contest the finish. PASCHAL MOON is another who loves this C & D and is never far behind. Will also be running on strongly. ROMANTIC GIRL stays on well and should be included where possible. ALL IN THE MIND drops a but in class and appears to be well weighted.

RACE 9:MR 69 Hcp (F & M) 1450m Bend

SKINNY DIP faded badly last time on sand. Better on turf and should be the one to consider. VARIETY good improvement last time when running on.  COASTAL CABARET is C & D suited and has the form to stake a claim. LIKE THE WILLOW won very impressively at the Vaal last time. May repeat. LORNE COTTAGE has shown some improvement in her last two. Outside chance.
