Looks to be a straight race between PANJO and GAZ MAN. PANJO was running on very well last time. GAZ MAN runs for the twenty-third time but has decent form. SRINAGAR has improved in his last two. REGAL PRESS is moderate but needs to improve to win. PRIVATE BANKING is inconsistent but may place.

RACE 2:Maiden Juvenile Plate 1450m Bend

SAMMY SILVER has been showing improvement in his last two starts. Should go close. THE BUCKET BOY showed some improvement in his second start last time. FLAG OF FRANCE showed an improvement by over thirty seven lengths last time but will have to come from the widest draw. SOUTHERN TASTE may improve along with QUAD BAY.

PEONY TREE made a good debut last time. Should go on from that. EXCEPTIONAL has had two fair runs. May improve with Anton Marcus aboard. WILLING is improving with each run. SETFIRETOTHERAIN will need to repeat her penultimate run at this track. ANGEL FROM THE ST is one that could improve to earn.

RACE 4:MR 64 Hcp (F & M) 1800m Bend

LORNE COTTAGE won this C & D last time. Has been up against stronger. HEADS UP has not won in ages and that second win seems to elude her. On form she should have a decent shout. GLAMAZON is also battling to win again. ran on strongly when just failing by a short head to win this C & D last time. GRAPHIC DESIGN loves this C & D and ran on well to win this C & D last time. VIVID must have a money chance on some steady form.

RACE 5:MR 88 Hcp 1600m Bend

GLITTER STAR has some nice form, but on a card like this we could be looking at a Pick Six carryover. Anton Marcus rides. LANCEWOOD won his last two and has excellent form this C & D with two wins and a second from only three starts over this C & D. SPITFIRE RUN did not show over further last time. May improve with Piere Strydom aboard. STORMY COAST could be coming back to form again. BUGLE CALL runs well at this track.

RACE 6:MR 73 Hcp 1600m Bend

MO DA DI DU showed very good improvement when racing at this track for the first time. Had dull recent KZN form. EGYPTIAN held on to win over 2000m last time. Could repeat. IN THE FRAME is holding form very well. Both wins have been over the distance, one of which this C & D. DECAMERON has steady form but tends to fade. Anton Marcus rides. WESTERN WAY has decent post maiden form. More to do for the win.

RACE 7:MR 64 Hcp (F & M) 1450m Bend

RAS MALAI does not have the best of draws but must have a chance on an improved latest effort. First time this track. PERFORMING LIGHT has shown some improvement in recent starts. Respect. MIDNIGHT DRAGON may improve with Piere Strydom aboard. LUCKY WISHES is improving. STAR BRITE has work to do but can earn a small cheque.

ARCTIC BEAR was running on last time when showing improvement. Anton Marcus rides. The reserve runner, WINGS OF AN ANGEL may get the chance to run. Has the form to go close. PERRIER-JOUET has run well for Piere Strydom before. He has the ride for him again this afternoon. STUNNING JET may be improving again. SAINT CLAIRE held on to win over 1600m last time. Could repeat.

ATALAYA should be hard to beat if she repeats her latest effort. She has placed second this C & D. RED SOX looks likely to win her maiden soon. Anton Marcus has the ride. QUEEN OF THE WILD runs her best races at this track. Can make the frame. COCONUT QUEEN looks to be improving and has the blinkers on. PRETTY LADY must have a very good chance on an improved latest effort.
