SACRED FEMININE (9/2) has improved in her last two. Chance. VIVACIOUS STAR won this C & D last time when running on well. Go close. ROMANTIC GIRL raced wide last time. Will improve on that run. VARIETY will have something to find but is improving. MOUNT CARMEL won over 1600m with Piere Strydom aboard. He climbs aboard this afternoon.

MARGOT ON STAGE looked good on debut last time. Must have a chance in this field. JEAN'S DANCER is never too far back. CORNISH DUCHESS improved by nine lengths last time. Respect.

WINNING WILD (83/10) has a big chance on his form this C & D. VANTAGE made a good debut last time when starting off at 33/10. CASEY'S CAUSE has run three good runs in four starts. Must have a shout. GO FOXY has improved with each of his four starts. Was running on last time. BROTHER IN ARMS has gone close in recent starts. Piere Strydom rides again. ROYAL TRIBUTE must be included on a very good debut run last time.

Keep an eye on the betting of the first timer, BADGER'S QUEST.

DELIVER THE POWER (6/10F) has raced against stronger. Unbeaten this C & D (4 from 4). Looks hard to beat. Main challenger should be VARIOMETER who runs her best races this track. Will be right there if not fading. LARUSSA takes on stronger but will be running on. UNCLE TOMMY makes his Gauteng debut. fair Cape Town form. APPROACHABLE can pick up a small cheque. Has not raced since February 2011. The shorter may suit for this afternoon.

MOTHER'S EYES (12/10F) has placed this C & D. Has been running on well of late. Piere Strydom rides for the first time. MY CHELSEY GIRL ran a very encouraging post maiden last time when running on well. First time this far. Blinkers come off!!! Why??? GRAPHIC DESIGN has won her last two. Looking for the hat trick. Finishes well. SAMNYO must be respected on two improved latest efforts. GOLDEN HANDSHAKE has steady form. Ran on last time.

WINTER DESIRE (11/2) won in a stronger division last time. Has also won over the distance and must have a very good chance on that win last time. MASS DESTRUCTION has not won in a long time. Gavin Lerena rides. WAR FRONT will be running on. Only win was at this track. MONSIEUR has improved in his last three starts with Pier Strydom aboard. He rides again today. YEBHUBHESI is currently holding form well.

JOLLY GOOD SIR (4/1F) has such good form that he should go close. Runs on. FOREST OF DREAMS returned to form last time when running on strongly for a good second. That was against slightly stronger. MO' PEPPER also has the form to make a race of it. Has won this C & D.  GEMMAYZE STREET ran a good post maiden last time. Should improve on that run. CODE NAPOLEON could be improving.
