TRIPLE WITNESS (12/1) (Duncan Howells) stayed on well last time despite losing two lengths at the start. Should go close, especially Anthony Delpech aboard. INDIRA (Mike De Kock) had a very good debut run last time. An apprentice claim of 4kg will assist. Watch the betting on the first timer, OCTAVIA (Dennis Drier/Sean Cormack). HUNTING BLUES showed very good improvement last time. Lost a length at the jump but still managed to finish 1.25 lengths back. REAP THE REWARDS (Charles Laird) was supported on debut last time. Did not show but look for improvement. A first timer worth following could be QUEEN OF THE SKY (Alec Laird/Stuart Randolph)

LORD AL (11/20 F) (Dennis Drier/Sean Cormack) has looked a likely winner in his last two starts but has been caught virtually on the line. Should have the beating of this field. BORN TO BE NOBLE ran well in his debut last time. Should improve even more with this run and must have a chance of winning. MAJESTIC EMBLEM (Michael Roberts) showed very good improvement last time. Definite money chance. ANDREAS (Dennis Drier) is steady. CATARACK may be improving.

EMALIYAMI (11/20 F) (Mike De Kock/Anthony Delpech) raced green on debut. Despite that she ran on for second. Looks hard to beat on that run. CAMPANOLOGIST ran her best run in six last time. Chance if confirming that improvement. SWIFT BOW (Duncan Howells) has steady form and should earn a cheque. LONDON OLYMPICS will have to find more for the win but can place. ICEONIC has gone backwards in each of her three runs.

SECRET BABE (62/10) (Dennis Drier/Sean Cormack) has lost a bit of her form. Good chance at the weights. Is C & D suited. QUEEN'S COMMAND loves the distance and is currently in good form. Has faced stronger. HAPPY HEART (Dennis Drier) did not show last time. Capable at best. STERN LINE (Charles Laird/Anthony Delpech) did not show last time but won two before that. Has tended to fade of late. Stable companion, TALENTE takes on a bit stronger, but has a place chance.

INDABA MY CHILDREN (12/10 F) (Charles Laird) has run four times for two wins and two close up seconds. The extra should suit as he runs on late. MOZART'S GIOVANNI (Mike De Kock/Anthony Delpech) has threatened to win his post maiden for some time now. Was an unlucky loser last time. Can make amends. AMBER ORCHID (Sean Tarry) won her maiden at the second attempt last time. Will have more to find but only has 47½kg to carry after an apprentice allowance has been taken into account. SON OF ORIMANDES finished well to win after a slow start last time. May repeat. SILVER AGE hung badly last time. Chance on penultimate start.

OCCHI DI LUPO (66/10) (Dennis Bosch/MJ Odendaal) is classy. Loves this C & D and has a 60% win rate this C& D. Will be running on. JAGERBOMB also loves this C & D. Sets a good pace and should be right there. Goes for the hat trick. STORM VANIDOSO (Dennis Bosch) also tends to fade but cannot be ignored this C & D. COOL SPENDER (Sean Tarry/Anthony Delpech) has not won in quite a long while. As best must have a chance. Has raced against stronger. TENNESSEE STRATEGY (Charles Laird) has not run since January. Has raced against stronger but could need the outing. JELLY BEAN looks to be very well weighted but is a three-year-old taking on older.

BWANA MACUBE (33/10 F) (Duncan Howells) has very good form with two wins in his last three starts. Won well last time. Has a promising apprentice aboard claiming 4kg. WOZA FRIDAY (Dennis Drier/Sean Cormack) showed good improvement last time. Chance if repeating. GOLDSTREAM won his last two, but in Kimberley. Respect as he raids from Gauteng. PIANO MAN could be coming back in to form.

LADY TAMARA (66/10) (Dennis Bosch/Muzi Yeni) is coming back to form. Has won and placed this C & D. Will be running on. Can be a bit tardy at the start and occasionally loses a few lengths. TRUMPET CALL may prefer this shorter trip. CAPTAIN FIRTH won his maiden last time when drawing off easily. Is only a three-year-old taking on more experienced runners. BAHAMA BABE (Gavin Van Zyl/Brandon Lerena) improved by almost twenty lengths last time when running on. A dark horse. MIESQUE'S WONDER also showed a vast improvement last time. Respect.
