DARLING MOON has very good form in three starts and looks to be the most likely to win the opener of the day. Justin Snaith looks set to continue with his excellent form from the weekend, mainly in PE. Bernard Fayd'Herbe rides. LEAVES ME NEVER makes her debut. Watch the betting. HAKAHANA showed very good improvement in her second start last time. KING'S SUMMIT is steady but did pull up lame last time after a sluggish start. LIZETTI is another first timer worthy for consideration.

RACE 2: Maiden Juvenile Plate 1000m Straight

The son of CAPTAIN AL, NORDIC WARRIOR makes his debut. Keep an eye on the betting. BILLY RED made a dull debut last time. He is the son of HORSE CHESTNUT. Give him another chance. LETS PARTY is improving slowly. STRONGMAN makes his debut. The betting could be your best guide. Another debutant, ALL FOR THE MONEY could be worth following.

RACE 3: Maiden Plate (F & M) 1000m Straight

MARIA'S DAUGHTER is back over her best C & D. Ignore her latest run. It was over further. Prefer this C & D. MARIMBA MAGIC was returning from a break last time. Will be fitter this afternoon. Could improve. BEDEFAY ran his best race last time, but that was in PE. RAINBOW WARBLER did not show over 1200m in her second start last time. Best run was this C & D on debut two runs back. One worth considering. SAINT DEPORTISTA is inconsistent and runs for the seventeenth time.

RACE 4: Maiden Plate 2500m Bend

LEGAL TRIP has improved with each trip and was running on in his last two starts. Looks hard to beat on form. TEMPLE TIGER has only just improved in runs eleven and twelve, his last two runs. Has placed this C & D and could go close again. PRIVATE DOOWALEY has also run twelve times but his last few starts have still shown that he has somewhere to go still. HOLD ON TIGER sets a good pace but weakens late. DUKE OF DESTINY showed good improvement in PE in his last two.

RACE 5: MR 86 Hcp (F & M) 1200m Straight

FAIRYINTHEWOODS won her last two with much in hand. Even though the first of those were in the maidens she should still be worth following as she seems to have the potential to win a few more. VARIKATE has excellent form as do the Justin Snaith yard and jockey. Was well beaten by BLUERIDGE MOUNTAIN last time and drops in class. LOLA BUD has been losing ground at the start but has also been finishing strongly. Won from a way back last time. LIFES DESIGN did not show last time. Claims on earlier form. PETARA takes on stronger. Also from the in-form Justin Snaith yard.

1st – FAIRYINTHEWOODS (2.5/1 F) (9); 2nd – VARIKATE (4); 3rd – LOLA BUD (1); 4th - LIFES DESIGN (7); 5th – PETARA (8)

RACE 6: MR 96 Hcp 1000m Straight

MOONLIGHT GAMBLER has shown improvement in his last two. Worth a good shout in this field. DRESSED IN COTTON has excellent form this C & D: 7(3-2-1) and has a strong finish. VILLA DEL LARGO has very good form. Bernard Fayd'Herbe rides for Justin Snaith. CAPTAIN HARRY shows some form but is never too far off the placed horses. PEANUTS has not raced since last September and should need a run or two. Form against weaker was good.

1st – MOONLIGHT GAMBLER (3.5/1) (7); 2nd – DRESSED IN COTTON (2.8/1 F) (6); 3rd – VILLA DEL LARGO (2); 4th - CAPTAIN HARRY (3); 5th – PEANUTS (8)

RACE 7: MR 90 Hcp 1600m Bend

POLITICAL PLAYBOY takes a drop in class and has faced stronger. Still has a chance of winning under the 61kg. Runs on well. LORD JONATHAN is holding form well but that form is PE form. Can still go close. SUSSEX SONG races handy and did stay on last time. In with a shout as well. NIGHT TRIP has hardly run a bad race since winning his maiden five runs back. Was gelded before his comeback run last time. Watch for even further improvement. LEAGUE OF HONOUR has steady form and does run on.

1st – POLITICAL PLAYBOY (5/1) (1); 2nd – LORD JONATHAN (2); 3rd – SUSSEX SONG (3); 4th - NIGHT TRIP (2.8/1 F) (5); 5th – LEAGUE OF HONOUR (6)

RACE 8:  MR 69 Hcp 1600m Bend

DAN PATCH has not won in ages but finished strongly last time and looked to the the likely winner close home. A repeat of that run could see him win this afternoon. JUST ASK also finished strongly this C & D last time and is worth considering. HENRY THE FOURTH showed improvement last time when also running on late. BIG CAT has two decent post maiden runs and was running on late last time. JOHNNY ROCKETS won his maiden this C & D last time. Respect the Justin Snaith/Bernard Fayd'Herbe combination.
