RACE 1: Workriders Maiden Plate 1400m Straight

TUSCAN and STORMY CAPE should fight this one out. There could be very little to choose between them, as the betting shows. Both will be finishing well as well. NINJA WARRIOR showed good improvement last time when running on. IMPECCABLE could be improving again. Ran a good race last time. GIANT EMPIRE ran on well on debut last time despite losing two lengths art the start.

RACE 2: Maiden Plate 2000m Bend

PAVOR NOCTURNUS has shown incredible improvement in his last three starts. Ran on last time when running to within a quarter of a length of the winner that day. THE GOLDEN ORB ran his best race in four last time. If repeating could feature well. SMOOTH CRIMINAL may be improving. GREYSTONE has finished two distant seconds in his last two starts. THE MONEY SHOT did run on last time but has already run forty two times as a maiden!

KALAAM was beaten by EASTERN GREETING by a short head last time but is 4kg better off this afternoon and should reverser the result. EASTERN GREETING has won three of her four last starts. Should give another very good account of herself. ALTAIR has steady form and did stay on well last time when showing improvement. IKATI will be running on and has faced some decent fields. HONORINE did not show in a feature last time. Four very good runs before that.

RACE 6: MR 72 Hcp 1400m Straight

ACES HIGH has been improving steadily and has been running on well. CARIBBEAN CRUISE finished well when showing very good improvement last time. MATTHEW ETHAN won his maiden at the second attempt last time. It was an impressive win. May need to confirm that win though. MONEY DOESNT COUNT did not show against stronger last time. IN EIGHT DAYS won his maiden at the third attempt last time. Respect the ante post favourite CO PILOT.

RACE 7: MR 90 Hcp 1000m Straight

RODEO DANDY runs on strongly and he has won at this C & D on five occasions. Very good form and should be the one to beat again. GOLDSTREAM is improving again and an apprentice claims 4kg. ABBOTTSBURY is in very good form and he will be running on. NICE STRIDE is also holding form well and could earn this afternoon. JADE BAY ran on to well very easily last time and is well suited to this C & D. Takes on slightly stronger.

RACE 8:MR 70 Hcp 1000m Straight

COHIBA ran on well last time to take the honours over 1200m. Has won this C & D before and could give another good account of himself. ULLSWATER has improved slightly in his last two starts. AMPERE is never far back and his last two were in minor feature races. Drops in class. MAGIC'S MAGIC has steady post maiden form. Consistency could be rewarded. EXTREME WEST has been coughing in all of his last four races.

VANTAGE will have the alumites on this afternoon and did show improvement last time. Could improve further. UNDERCOVER CAT won on debut last time. May need to confirm. BOY OH BOY ran on nicely last time when showing improvement. One to consider. GO FOXY disappointed around the turn last time. Good form before that. CHEDWIN PARK could also be improving. Respect the ante post favourite, even though he is a weak one at that, THE MUTINEER.
