MISATSO did not show at this track on Thursday but ran her best race the time before that when running on. TUSCON'S GOLD showed promise in her first run last time. BUDDY'S FALCON finished eighth on Thursday, more than nine lengths back. May still be improving. CYNARA has dull form but may place. TORMENTRESS did not show on debut. Could improve.

RACE 2: Maiden Plate 1400m Straight

STORMY TIGER looks hard to beat on his second career start last time when running on strongly. SOLAR ENERGY ran his best race in eight last time. Chance if following up. KALAMATA BABY may also be improving. PATRICK STAR was fair on debut. Did make late progress. Not out of it. POSSE POSSE has steady form but is never close enough to challenge late.

RACE 3: Maiden Plate 2400m Bend

SIGNATURE is improving and Piere Strydom has the ride. BON IVER ran on Thursday and finished a distant fourth. Run before that was good. DARK REIGN also ran on Thursday. Was sent off as favourite but finished just behind BON IVER. ALI has been improving. lacks finish. PROPHET OF WAR improved by thirty two lengths last time. Gavin Lerena has the ride.

RACE 4: Maiden Plate 1000m Straight

WILD THING has been improving in his latest starts and last time finished only a neck in second. Definite chance on that improvement. AUTHORICE made a good debut last time despite a tardy start in which he lost four lengths. DANCE CLUB improved by ten lengths last time. Stayed on to experience his best run in ten. MANZAI loves this C & D and will have Piere Strydom aboard. OUR BOY BLAKE makes his debut. The betting should be your best guide as to his chances.

RACE 5: MR 64 Hcp (F & M) 1000m Straight

BOLD FLASH ran on strongly for a head second last time. Will win if repeating that run. FLYING WENDY showed some form return last time, but on sand. Has good turf form. WINGS OF AN ANGEL has steady form but weakens late. FAVOURITE DAUGHTER won her maiden at the twentieth attempt last time. Will probably need to confirm. LECTURE QUEEN is a reserve runner who could earn something if given the chance to run.

RACE 6: MR 64 Hcp (F & M) 1000m Straight

SCARLET VEIL is coming on nicely. Ran on well at the finish last time. SING THE BLUES just faded very late on the sand over this distance last time. Respect the improvement shown. SHERI BABY won her last two but is only a reserve runner. Chance if getting into the race. VICTRIXIT ran on Thursday and was tenth, but less that five lengths back. Is improving. CRACKER DOBA has steady post maiden form. Weakens very late.

1st – SCARLET VEIL (2.8/1 F) (2); 2nd – SING THE BLUES (3); 3rd – SHERI BABY (15); 4th - VICTRIXIT (1); 5th – CRACKER DOBA (6)

RACE 7: MR 74 Hcp 2400m Bend

WINTER DESIRE is the form horse and was running on in both of her latest two starts. SNAPPY LAD ran on strongly to win over shorter at this track last time. Piere Strydom rides again. WAR FRONT has been consistent over shorter. Not certain to stay this far. GENTLEMAN JACK is never far back and will be finishing well. PYLON is better on sand but this is not a strong field and his good form may continue.

RACE 8: MR 89 Hcp 1700m Bend

ADAMS ROCK ran on well to win over shorter last time. Has a chance of repeating. Has shown good form in his eight starts to date: 8(2-3-1). ZANZIBAR MAN rn on well to finish second this C & D last time. Must have a shout. PERIGRINE ran on last time. Has a shout. Stable companion from the Sean Tarry yard, BAMAKO, has not run since August. Had good form in KZN but may need the run.  RIGHT TO TANGO disappointed last time. Chance of earlier form. TIGER PLAY won his last two. Piere Strydom will be attempting to ride him to his hat trick. He has ridden him in his last two.

RACE 9: MR 71 Hcp 1700m Bend

BRONZE STAR ran a very good post maiden last time when running on this C & D. Every chance of repeating. FLAMING FORGE is never far back and was also finishing well last time. ETERNITY has good form with two wins and a two length seventh in his last three starts. ONE UP has good post maiden form and will be finding a good finish. ROCKY STALLONE ran on to finish a close up sixth last Thursday. Was supported in the betting that day. Watch! IN EIGHTY DAYS (Mike De Kock) is unbeaten this track and goes for his hat trick. Drawn wide.
