RACE 1: Maiden Plate 1600m Bend

NAD'S PRIDE ran his best race last time when finishing well. SANS LIMITES improved by nineteen lengths last time when finished a very good second. WHITE PARTY also showed vast improvement last time. Weakened late. SIR SWAROVSKI has the most consistent form of those running. KING'S JOY improved in his last two.

RACE 2: Maiden Plate (F & M) 1200m Bend

TELL MY STAR finished a short head back in second last week Thursday. On that run should be the one to beat. SUGAREE made a fair debut last time and ought to improve on that run. THORNEYWOOD CHASE made big improvement last Thursday when running on to finish a good third. Best run in three. SHREYA'S ANGEL has not quite taken to the sand yet but could improve. SWEET LYRICS is inconsistent but has the ability to pop up.

RACE 3: Maiden Plate 1000m Straight

MR ALFONSO has improved markedly since turning to the sand. ZEERUST ran his best race last time when finishing a good second, only three lengths back. The improvement could continue. GOLD PROSPECTOR makes his debut. watch the betting. SALUTE THE SUN is never far back but weakens. COMBAT CAT showed some small improvement last time.

RACE 4: MR 72 Hcp 1000m Straight

MAJI MOTO has improved in his last two. Loves this C & D. Shows good early speed but still weakens late. GABRONZA won her maiden at the fourth attempt last time by over five lengths. WEEKEND SPECIAL won last time at this track by over seven. May prefer 1200m. RODEO DANDY is never far back and if in the mood will be running on. Better on turf. HAWKSWORTH has yet to run a bad race but has yet to run on sand at this track.

RACE 5: MR 84 Hcp (F & M) 1000m Straight

BRAVE PRINCESS stayed on to win this C & D last time. That was against slightly weaker. Every chance of repeating. LA VOLTA ran on really well last time despite an awkward start. One to consider a strong bet. SUNSET BABY ran a very good post maiden last time. Apprentice claim of 4kg will assist. ROOI NOOI has faced far stronger. Has won three from four starts this C & D. LECTURE QUEEN is never far back and usually finishes well.

1st – BRAVE PRINCESS (8/1) (5); 2nd – LA VOLTA (3.3/1 F) (2); 3rd – SUNSET BABY (12); 4th - ROOI NOOI (1); 5th – LECTURE QUEEN (8)

RACE 6: MR 103 Hcp 1600m Straight

MASAI WARRIOR has been finishing well and has faced some strong fields recently. Very good form this C & D. JET JAMBOREE runs for the third time after a rest. Should be ready to mount a strong challenge. MAGIC SMOKE has top current form and her form this C & D is excellent: 5(2-2-1). Very speedy. RIGHT BEAUTY hasn't won for a while but can earn. UNCLE TOMMY has contested feature races in his last two. Not without a chance.

1st – MASAI WARRIOR (4/1 JF) (7); 2nd – JET JAMBOREE (4/1 JF) (1); 3rd – MAGIC SMOKE (3); 4th - RIGHT BEAUTY (6); 5th – UNCLE TOMMY (2)

RACE 7: MR 78 Hcp 1600m Bend

SHADOW LINE finished well last time despite hanging. SPECTROSCOPE has been racing handy in his last few. In good form. ZAP THE STARS is speedy but weakens. DECAMERON drops in class and has a chance despite the 60kg. KING SCOTT may battle against this field but could end up at the back end of quartets, especially at the weights.

RACE 8: MR 68 Hcp 1450m Bend

LIGETI made her Gauteng and sand debut last time. Did show improvement on his Cape Town form that day and could improve even more this afternoon. LADY JULIA has good form and was running on last time. Should have every chance. SPIRITOFAMPHITRITE was also running on well this C & D last time. Form is good. RULESOFENGAGEMENT has improved  in her last two when finishing well. MESMERISING MELODY will have to repeat her penultimate start.
