PREVIEW: KENILWORTH - 20 AUGUST 2014

ANNIGONI should improve on a decent debut last time despite casting a shoe in running. Trainer Brett Crawford has some well bred first timers and picking the right one could be tricky. Keep a watch on the betting. The Brett Crawford first timers are KINGS ADVISOR, CAPTAIN'S CASTLE and BLUE TRACTOR. WESTERN FORCE is a well bred first timer from the Joey Ramsden yard.

SCORE CARD ran on well when running his best race in four last time. Strong chance on last two. TRIPTOTHESTARS also ran on well in his latest run which was also his fourth run. CELESTIAL FLIGHT made a very good debut last time. Has a shout and jockey won two from two on formless horses in Kimberley yesterday. KING'S OF WAR showed an eight length improvement last time. One to respect. SALVAGER has poor form but respect trainer and jockey.

KING'S KITTEN lost it at the start last time. Good chance on penultimate run. CRYSTAL CAVERN is never far back and finished extremely close up third in her last three. UP IN LIGHTS had bad luck in running last time. Good runs before that. GOLDANDSILVER raced against stronger last time. May prefer 1000m. WANING CRESCENT has been improving with each run since making her debut three runs back.

ACE ANTONIUS ran on well last time and takes a sharp drop in class. The one to beat. IN THE CRUISE was not disgraced in his post maiden last time. Takes on older. MAN FROM MILAN ran against some stronger in Durban during the Winter Season. Must have a good shout. BRAVE LEADER has improved in his last two. Claim on the improvement. VICE ADMIRAL is not too far back and is back over a more favourable distance.

THE CONGLOMERATE won his maiden in fine style last time. That was his second start and the win was meritorious as he met with interference in running. KIRUMBO weakens late but is never far back. Only win was this C & D. MISTER MATCHETT ran an improved race last time. Got going late and flew up. SPRING CHERRY raced against slightly stronger in his two post maidens. AQUA has some good form and could sneak a place.

BAROSSA VALLEY ran well against way stronger last time. Should be finishing well. ZINGZILLA has finished close up seconds in each of his four post maiden runs. TIGER TOPS won his last two against weaker. PUTNEY FLYER drops in class but has more to find. MAN FROM JAPAN has more to find for the win.

PRINCESS SALME was rewarded for recent consistency finishing well over shorter last time. Has run well this C & D. INTERNET JET ran on well against stronger last time. RUSHINTOTHEWIND has steady form and could have a chance with only 52kg. NONKI POO could benefit by a drop in class. Form is only moderate. DISNEY QUEEN has some decent form and could earn something.

COSMONAUTA could be improving again. ABBEY CREEK has been showing some good late form. FANCY YELLOW could have a claim on a vastly improved latest effort.
