Has improved in her last two starts and could be the one. This is not a strong field. SECRET ANGEL has been improving in her last two starts. PHANTOM BID has patchy form but could be ready to improve.

STARCRAFT PRINCE should be hard to beat if repeating his debut run last time. SUZIE'S ARROW makes his debut. Could be worth some interest. The Australian bred, CANDY ROCK, also makes his debut. Could be anything. PLAY ZAK showed improvement in his second start last time. THE CAPTAIN'S TUNE was heavily backed on debut last time but did not show. Give another chance?

DYNAMITE JIM has very good form. Was a distant third last time, but that was on sand. WEAPONOLOGY would have won this C & D last time had there been another five metres to run. THE GOLDEN BOY runs well this C & D and has Piere Strydom aboard again. CREW got going far too late last time. Place chance. BOW 'N ARROW can earn but may prefer ever so slightly shorter.

MARGOT ON STAGE has very good form. Has a very good chance of winning. Ran well last time against weaker but has run well against this strength of field. SHEPARD ONE faced stronger in her penultimate. Trifecta chance. MOHAVE PRINCESS drops in class. Never had a clear way through last time. CARLA THE REBEL won her maiden at the third attempt last time. That was despite being slow away. Takes on stronger. SILENT RUSH could be finding form again.

S'IL VOUS PLAIT is battling to win. Has faced stronger although last two have been against weaker. At best, he will be hard to beat. C & D suited and stayed on nicely last time. GUY FROM DUBAI rises in class but form is good enough to win. AFRICA BLUE held on to win over shorter last time. May be too far. STORM WARNING is an out and out stayer and has obvious claims. Has raced against stronger. SAVAGE WIND weakened over further last time. Is C & D suited.

SOVEREIGN MINT won his last two against weaker. On form, chances are good. I have my doubts are whether he has the class to win or not. SHADOW OFHIS SMILE has been weakening over shorter. SNOWDON has raced some good races at this level before. Cannot ignore even though his last two have been disappointing. BRAD'S SURGE was finishing well last time. SABADELL needs to find more. Has the class though.

LUCKY GAMBLER was an unlucky loser against stronger last time. Can make amends in this class this afternoon. STYLISH BAY could be improving again. Steps up in class. SILVA SHAMA was not disgraced against stronger in his penultimate. Unreliable though. NEON TIGER was badly interfered with last time. Probably wouldn't have won anyway. FINAL SCORE has placed this C & D and is never that far back.

DIRTY CHAMPAGNE doesn't have the most sparkling form but with this Geoff Woodruff trained inmate runs well for Gavin Lerena. Definite inclusion at this level. BLACK COSSACK has won both his starts this C & D. Won with authority last time. BEZA won this C & D when totally unfancied last time. Can challenge again. ARGOMENTO won his maiden at the third attempt last time. That was his first run this C & D. Respect. LISNOBLE won his maiden at the fifth attempt last time. May need to confirm. First two runs and latest run were good.
