GAME PLAN has absolutely no form but is one that may improve. Could be worth a few small place bets. CHADDERTON runs for the seventeenth time but has been a consistent place finder. Has improved in her last two starts and could be the one. This is not a strong field. SECRET ANGEL has been improving in her last two starts. PHANTOM BID has patchy form but could be ready to improve.

1st – GAME PLAN (66/1) (10); 2nd – CHADDERTON (8); 3rd – ANITA (9/4 F) (2); 4th - SECRET ANGEL (4); 5th – PHANTOM BID (1)

AGALIA could improve on a moderate debut. CHINA BEACH always finds one or two better. Should be right there again. PEARL VALLEY moved up late last time. SOVIET CRACKDOWN and ISLAND BLISS make their debuts. Keep an eye on the betting.

1st – AGALIA (9/2) (3); 2nd – CHINA BEACH (2/1 F) (1); 3rd – PEARL VALLEY (9); 4th - SOVIET CRACKDOWN (12); 5th – ISLAND BLISS (8)

15 ROLLIN IN DA DEEP A B 7 58.0 Chris Erasmus Reserve 1
16 MON STAR A 8 58.0 Leon Erasmus Reserve 2

STARCRAFT PRINCE should be hard to beat if repeating his debut run last time. SUZIE'S ARROW makes his debut. Could be worth some interest. The Australian bred, CANDY ROCK, also makes his debut. Could be anything. PLAY ZAK showed improvement in his second start last time. THE CAPTAIN'S TUNE was heavily backed on debut last time but did not show. Give another chance?

1st – STARCRAFT PRINCE (5/2 JF) (12); 2nd – SUZIE'S ARROW (13); 3rd – CANDY ROCK (2); 4th - PLAY ZAK (8); 5th – THE CAPTAIN'S TUNE (5/2 JF) (14)

Race 4 - 14.20 - 2600m
BIG 5 DISTRIBUTION MAIDEN PLATE
(For all Maidens)
1 WEAPONOLOGY A 8 60.0 Ryan Hutcheson Gavin Lerena
2 THE GOLDEN BOY A B T 7 60.0 Chris Erasmus Piere Strydom
3 DYNAMITE JIM A 2 60.0 Gary Alexander Ian Sturgeon
4 IN TUNE TOO A 1 60.0 Paul Matchett Randall Simons
5 BOW 'N ARROW A T 3 60.0 Heather E Adamson Chad Little
6 IT'S MISTER TO YOU A T 9 60.0 Terry Lowe Karl Zechner

8 BORDER PATROL A 5 60.0 James Maree Fanie Chambers
9 GLOBAL SHIPPING A 6 60.0 Brian Wiid Chase Maujean
10 SILVERMODE A 10 55.0 Roy Magner Jarryd Penny
11 VAULT A 11 55.0 Stuart Pettigrew Gunter Wrogemann

DYNAMITE JIM has very good form. Was a distant third last time, but that was on sand. WEAPONOLOGY would have won this C & D last time had there been another five metres to run. THE GOLDEN BOY runs well this C & D and has Piere Strydom aboard again. CREW got going far too late last time. Place chance. BOW 'N ARROW can earn but may prefer ever so slightly shorter.

1st – DYNAMITE JIM (17/10 F) (3); 2nd – WEAPONOLOGY (1); 3rd – THE GOLDEN BOY (2); 4th - CREW (7); 5th – BOW 'N ARROW (5)

Race 5 - 14.55 - 1200m
D.P. PRINT PINNACLE STAKES (F & M)
(For Fillies and Mares)
1 SCRATCHED
2 MOHAVE PRINCESS (AUS) A 7 58.5 Gavin van Zyl Keagan De Melo
3 PURE POWER S 2 57.0 Mike Bass Weichong Marwing
4 SHEPARD ONE A 3 57.0 Dominic Zaki Gavin Lerena
5 KINGS V A 5 54.0 Wallace Tolmay Collen Storey
6 MARGOT ON STAGE A 6 54.0 Roy Magner Karl Zechner
7 CARLA THE REBEL A 8 50.0 Johan Janse van Vuuren Derreck David
8 SILENT RUSH A 4 50.0 Lucky Houdalakis Jarryd Penny

MARGOT ON STAGE has very good form. Has a very good chance of winning. Ran well last time against weaker but has run well against this strength of field. SHEPARD ONE faced stronger in her penultimate. Trifecta chance. MOHAVE PRINCESS drops in class. Never had a clear way through last time. CARLA THE REBEL won her maiden at the third attempt last time. That was despite being slow away. Takes on stronger. SILENT RUSH could be finding form again.

1st – MARGOT ON STAGE (4/1) (6); 2nd – SHEPARD ONE (4); 3rd – MOHAVE PRINCESS (2); 4th - CARLA THE REBEL (9/4 F) (7); 5th – SILENT RUSH (8)

Race 6 - 15.30 - 2600m
ISUZU EAGLE CANYON PINNACLE STAKES
(For all horses)
1 STORM WARNING A 4 60.0 Dominic Zaki Gavin Lerena
2 S'IL VOUS PLAIT A 8 60.0 Ormond Ferraris Weichong Marwing
3 SAVAGE WIND A T 2 55.5 Joe Soma Chase Maujean
4 SKY RISE A B 5 55.5 Weiho Marwing Karl Zechner
5 SCRATCHED
6 GUY FROM DUBAI A 1 52.5 Mike de Kock Derreck David
7 AFRICA BLUE A B 7 50.0 Roy Magner Juan Paul V'D Merwe
8 ROCKY STALLONE A 6 50.0 Devin Little Ryan Munger
9 SCRATCHED

S'IL VOUS PLAIT is battling to win. Has faced stronger although last two have been against weaker. At best, he will be hard to beat. C & D suited and stayed on nicely last time. GUY FROM DUBAI rises in class but form is good enough to win. AFRICA BLUE held on to win over shorter last time. May be too far. STORM WARNING is an out and out stayer and has obvious claims. Has raced against stronger. SAVAGE WIND weakened over further last time. Is C & D suited.

1st – S'IL VOUS PLAIT (3/1 F) (2); 2nd – GUY FROM DUBAI (6); 3rd – AFRICA BLUE (7); 4th - STORM WARNING (1); 5th – SAVAGE WIND (3)

Race 7 - 16.05 - 1450m
FLIGHTSURE AVIATION BROKERS PINNACLE STAKES
(For all horses)
1 SNOWDON A 8 61.5 Ormond Ferraris Weichong Marwing
2 SHADOW OFHIS SMILE A T 7 57.0 Geoff Woodruff Piere Strydom
3 HEART OF A LION A 3 57.0 Gavin van Zyl Keagan De Melo
4 NEWTON POWER A B T 5 57.0 Johan Janse van Vuuren Ian Sturgeon
5 BRAD'S SURGE A 6 57.0 Bradley Maroun Francois Naude
6 SABADELL A 1 57.0 Geoff Woodruff Gavin Lerena
7 SOVEREIGN MINT A 4 55.5 Robbie Sage Gunter Wrogemann
8 RUSHMORE RIVER S T 9 54.0 Joe Soma S'Manga Khumalo
9 MAX THE MAN A T 2 54.0 Brian Wiid Chase Maujean

SOVEREIGN MINT won his last two against weaker. On form, chances are good. I have my doubts are whether he has the class to win or not. SHADOW OFHIS SMILE has been weakening over shorter. SNOWDON has raced some good races at this level before. Cannot ignore even though his last two have been disappointing. BRAD'S SURGE was finishing well last time. SABADELL needs to find more. Has the class though.

1st – SOVEREIGN MINT (286/100 F) (7); 2nd – SHADOW OFHIS SMILE (2); 3rd – SNOWDON (1); 4th - BRAD'S SURGE (5); 5th – SABADELL (6)

Race 8 - 16.40 - 2600m
EUROCEL FM 77 HANDICAP (F & M)
(For Fillies and Mares)
1 LUCKY GAMBLER A C 3 60.0 Devin Little Collen Storey
2 SHOWDOWN A 7 59.5 Lucky Houdalakis Gavin Lerena
3 NEON TIGER A T 1 55.0 Stuart Pettigrew Marco V'Rensburg
4 SILVA SHAMA A 2 54.0 Devin Little Piere Strydom
5 STYLISH BAY A 9 53.0 Spike Lerena Karl Zechner
6 RIGHT SITE A T 8 52.0 James Maree Jarryd Penny
7 FINAL SCORE A B T 5 52.0 Joe Soma Akash Aucharuz
8 LADY OF THE LORDS A 4 52.0 Gary Alexander Derreck David
9 COTE DE PABLO A 6 52.0 Ryan Hutcheson Julius Mariba

LUCKY GAMBLER was an unlucky loser against stronger last time. Can make amends in this class this afternoon. STYLISH BAY could be improving again. Steps up in class. SILVA SHAMA was not disgraced against stronger in his penultimate. Unreliable though. NEON TIGER was badly interfered with last time. Probably wouldn't have won anyway. FINAL SCORE has placed this C & D and is never that far back.

1st – LUCKY GAMBLER (357/100 F) (1); 2nd – STYLISH BAY (5); 3rd – SILVA SHAMA (4); 4th - NEON TIGER (3); 5th – FINAL SCORE (7)

Race 9 - 17.15 - 1450m

14 WARBASH A 15 52.0 Chris Erasmus Hennie Greyling
15 CATAMAGIC A T 10 52.0 Chris Erasmus Reserve 1

DIRTY CHAMPAGNE doesn't have the most sparkling form but with this Geoff Woodruff trained inmate runs well for Gavin Lerena. Definite inclusion at this level. BLACK COSSACK has won both his starts this C & D. Won with authority last time. BEZA won this C & D when totally unfancied last time. Can challenge again. ARGOMENTO won his maiden at the third attempt last time. That was his first run this C & D. Respect. LISNOBLE won his maiden at the fifth attempt last time. May need to confirm. First two runs and latest run were good.

1st – DIRTY CHAMPAGNE (5/1) (2); 2nd – BLACK COSSACK (4); 3rd – BEZA (9); 4th - ARGOMENTO (37/10 F) (12); 5th –  LISNOBLE (6)
