RACE 1

STRATEGIC'S PRIDE showed good pace on debut last time. Should run well again this afternoon. TRIPLE APOLOGY, son of TRIPPI, makes his debut. Watch the betting. Anthony Delpech rides STRATEGIC'S PRIDE though. HARRISON was slow away on debut last time. Should improve. JEDAK improved by fourteen lengths in his second run last time. Watch! TRIPTIQUE is another son of TRIPPI. This rime Dennis Drier is the trainer. Respect the favourite and first timer SEATTLE LIGHT.

DIANA'S JET makes her debut. This time Anthony Delpech rides for Mike De Kock! HEART OF WINTER could be ready to improve. ATSO ROCKS makes her debut. Keep an eye on the betting. MOONLIGHT MIST could improve on a nice debut last time. SILVER HONEY was not disgraced on debut last time despite weakening late.

RACE 3

STORMY ECLIPSE never showed in his post maiden against slightly stronger last time. Watch for an improved effort this time around. FESTIVE PRINCE did not runs as well as the betting may have suggested in his debut run last time. Give another chance. PIROGUE ran a fair debut run last time despite racing green. Will have come on from that run. OTHER BRUDDA has improved markedly since making his debut three runs back. Go close this time? RACING FOR FUN has had his problems but don't ignore.

RACE 4

LEVEN POINT has had three runs and won his last two, both of which were at this track. Finished well in both. FLYING FELLOW drops in class. Should be right there. PETER PIPER is holding form well but weakens late with a win and two seconds in his last three. AWARE will benefit from a drop in class. Did show something last time to suggest a win soon. BILLY BOY BLUES weakens but could find a minor placing.

RACE 5

IMPERIAL WISH has won two from three. Won well last time. Should cope in this slightly higher division. Looks promising. SHELLY'S CONNECTION has been holding form well and has to have a good shout. Loves this track. WINTER GLORY won a good race this C & D last time. GEMSTONE GLAMOUR has been weakening in her two post maiden runs. INJAAZAAT was returning from a five month break. Should strip fitter this afternoon.

RACE 6

EUTHALIA made a promising poly track last time and could go close again. MISS STINGRAY has had good post maiden form. Has only won once in thirty two runs. Chance on current form. LONDON OLYMPICS showed improvement last time when staying on. ALINA showed a distinct liking for this track when finding more to win last time. APPLE 'N SPICE will have to find more to win but could place.

RACE 7

NANOJET drops slightly in class. Could cause something of an upset were she to place even. Worth a small place bet perhaps? FLY PEG FLY is never too far back but last time did show that she could be ready to win again. RAD ROCK won her maiden three runs back at the twenty fifth time. Has not been disgraced in her post maiden runs. JOSIE'S GIRL showed vast improvement last time. Consider. SEBUENG is another one who could be finding form again.

RACE 8

MOON SHOT makes his polytrack debut. Improved last two in Cape Town. Could cause an upset. JAY POWER weakens but Anton Marcus has the ride. BLAZE THE TRAIL ran his best race in ages last time. Came from a long way back. SLOT IN was not disgraced is his post maiden run last time. QATAR SPRINGS won his maiden very well last time but could be a horse with problems.

ROYAL HONEYMOON has been in good form recently. Failed to keep on a straight course last time. SURI did not show against stronger last time. First two runs were promising. KATCH showed courage when winning this C & D last time. THRONE ran a vastly improved race last time. CAPE VESTA got going late last time. Place chance.
