BRUNO is proving expensive to follow both in Durban and here in Cape Town. He must pick up his maiden win soon. FASHION SCOUT showed some small improvement last time but Karl Neisius doesn't ride. VALDE VELOX, son of HORSE CHESTNUT, makes his debut. AIR CHIEF MARSHAL, son of JET MASTER, makes his debut. Keep an eye on the betting. PHOEBUS has not shown much but may improve.

DYNASTIC looks hard to beat on his excellent debut on the polytrack in Durban last time. Was heavily backed that day and will be looking to make amends today. Half brother, LINE BREAK, makes his debut. Watch the betting. PIKASTAR has had his problems in his last two starts. Chance if at his best. KING'S OF WAR has been lightly raced. Still has to show. CHESTNUT CHIEF has had two runs in Durban. Yet to show.

JEWELLER'S JOY improved by almost six lengths in her second start last time. Can make her presence felt this afternoon. UPPER ECHELON made a decent debut last time. Should improve on that run. VIVARANI ran on strongly on debut over shorter at this track last time. Chance on that effort. GLAMOUR GAL missed the break on debut last time but did get going late. DREAM CATCHER can and probably will on her debut run last time.

ROYAL FOUNDATION has finished second in all three of her last starts. Can break her maiden at the eighteenth attempt this afternoon. ALZERRA has claims on an improved latest effort. BELLE ON ICE has had two consistent runs, both at this track. Should be right up there. ORATORIUM has more to find on three moderate runs. Will improve soon though. CHILL SPA improved by ten lengths in her second start last time and will be better suited to this trip.

ZINGZILLA is holding form well and could have found his last two starts over distances a bit too far. Has run well over this afternoon's distance. TIGER TOPS will be running on and is definitely the form horse in the race. EMBLEM OF HONOUR came back to form with a good run this C & D last time when running on. FREEZING POINT won this C & D last time when finishing well. This will be stronger though. PRIVATE DOOWALEY last ran in May when running on to win this C & D. May need the run.

BLOW ME AWAY was rewarded last time for a good debut two runs back. Ran on well to win last time. Could be worth following. CAPTAIN ALFREDO made an impressive winning debut over shorter last time. Should be better distance suited. CHESTER'S WISH is the only two-time winner in the race and is currently holding form well. Must be included. PARACHUTE MAN won his maiden at the fourth attempt last time. This is shorter. O'CHEE PAN weakens and has a bit more to find for the win.

Consider in a weak field. TIGERESS DANCE is consistent but has found some decent form of late. MY PRECIOUS has excellent post maiden form against stronger but may need the run. Last run was in February. SPEED MERCHANT has had her problems. Chance if overcoming them this afternoon.
