BLAST will be running on. Good form at this track. First run since June. DESTINY DRIVEN has always had good form. Showed further improvement in PE last time. Strong chance. PICTURE BOOK did not show on the polytrack last time but was baulked late on. Watch for improvement. OVIDIO made a fair debut at Durbanville last time. Watch for improvement. WELL INFORMED makes his debut.

LA MYST showed good improvement on his Cape Town debut. Should improve even further. JAY BELLE moved up well late last time. SKY AT NIGHT has had three good Durbanville runs. Look for further improvement in PE. EVOKE EMOTION has had three Cape Town runs. Improving slowly. Watch for improvement in PE. ARABICA may prefer shorter but may place at best.

PROPERZIO may be coming back to best. Consider on improved latest effort. Jockey in great form. PEREGRINE KING has the form and jockey to win this. Guaranteed to be finishing well. THE BEAT won his maiden last time at the fourth attempt. Looks to have more improvement still to come. BLACK BELUGA did not respond to the polytrack last time. Could be better the turf. KENT ROCK did not have the best of times in his post maiden last time. Can get much closer.

RACE 4

DAVYANA races in PE for the first time. Looks hard to beat on Cape Town form, trainer form and jockey form. CAN-CAN INN was running on last time on the polytrack. Has run well on turf. FRAGILE FLOWER has not shown in any of her three runs on the polytrack. Consider on previous very good form on turf in Durban. CALL OF THE HUNT tends to weaken. FIVE MOONS will need to repeat her penultimate start.

RACE 5

CURRENT EVENT drops a bit in class. Runs well on the polytrack but has won on the turf track at Fairview. Should finish well. Stable companion, OREO SHAKE, showed a good return to form at Durbanville last time. Respect. TIGER PLAY did show improvement in his PE debut last time. EMPEROR AUGUSTUS makes his PE debut. Latest effort in Gauteng was way below par. Bound to improve. INDIAN RIVER has improved on the polytrack. Consider for a minor placing.

RACE 6

LIFT OFF looks difficult to oppose on very good Cape Town form. Expect another very good finish. SCARLET BERRY ran on when making her PE debut last time. That was on the polytrack. Handy weight. MUSIC AFFAIR makes her PE debut. Kept going well to win last time at the Vaal. JOYFUL SPIRIT must have a shout on an improved last two runs on the polytrack. HANA is never far back but weakens.

RACE 7

BLAZE OF FIRE won well last time but the run that stands out is his five length finish behind FUTURA in the Grade 1 Champions Cup at Greyville in July. Do not ignore despite the current betting. DISCO AL ran well in Durban during the Winter Season. Ran on well. FOREST DIGGER also finishes well and has won twice over this journey. ARION has good Cape Town form. First time in PE. Respect trainer/jockey combination. TITUS won his last two against weaker. Outside place chance.

RACE 8

CRUZWITHMECAPTAIN is in good form, but mainly on the polytrack surface. Not a confident choice. Will have to bring his poly record to the turf. Don't ignore though on trainer/jockey form. SAINT ANGELIQUE is improving in PE but has only run on the polytrack here. MISS CANTONA is never far back and runs well on both surfaces. LADIDAH bounced right back to form with an improved run at Durbanville last time. Include in all bets. INTIMATE TOUCH was finishing well last time.

DANCING DEBS has won this C & D and has been running on. Has very good form with two wins and two seconds in her last four starts. SHAKE AND BAKE ran two crackers on the polytrack in her last two. Should have a good chance if repeating on the turf. FACINATING FILLY blotted her copybook last time with a way below par effort. Chance on previous four very good efforts. IRISH MAID ran on well when showing good improvement last time. SISSY GRAY has been racing handy. Money chance.
