RACE 2

SOLDIER GIRL has good form and was finishing well last time. The blinkers go on for the first time. ROSALIE lacked finish on debut last time but should improve. CAPE MARIGOLD had her excuses last time when her saddle slipped. SCARLETT ICE ran on well on debut last time despite a slow start. ULETIDE improved by almost twelve lengths in her second start last time.

1st – SOLDIER GIRL (9/2) (6); 2nd – ROSALIE (28/10 F) (14); 3rd – CAPE MARIGOLD (9); 4th - SCARLETT ICE (15); 5th – ULETIDE (16)

9 AUGUSTINUS A T 6 52.5 Tyrone Zackey Karl Zechner
10 POWER LORD A B 5 50.0 Grant Maroun Tshwaro Appie

RACE 3

NORGAY moves up in class but has good form. Strong front runner. Stable companion, EVEREST , must have a shout on good recent form. MASTER SABINA has raced against top class fields in this country. Hasn't run since July. Will be running on. Good chance. MIRAGE DRIVE tends to weaken but can place. RUSHMORE RIVER stayed on last time and has finished close behind LOUIS THE KING.

1st – NORGAY (11/2) (4); 2nd – EVEREST (3); 3rd – MASTER SABINA (33/10 F) (2); 4th - MIRAGE DRIVE (7); 5th – RUSHMORE RIVER (6)

7 PARTY PEG A 2 50.5 Corne Spies Keagan De Melo
8 VIA DELLA TIGRE A 8 50.0 Grant Maroun Brian Nyawo

RACE 4

ALBORAN SEA weakened in a Grade 1 at Greyville last time. This should be easier and her form before that was good enough to suggest that she will be the one to beat. TIGER QUEST has very good recent form on sand but is well suited to this C & D. TZIGANE was reported to be not striding out last time. Ignore that run. PARTY PEG did not show on sand last time. Turf form is very good.  ALCANINA  tends to weaken but apprentice claim may assist.

1st – ALBORAN SEA (46/100 F) (6); 2nd –TIGER QUEST (1); 3rd – TZIGANE (2); 4th - PARTY PEG (7); 5th – ALCANINA (5)

16 POWER LORD A B 16 52.0 Grant Maroun Reserve 2

RACE 5

S'IL VOUS PLAIT is coming back to form again and I liked the way in which he finished last time. SAVAGE WIND is holding form well but takes on stronger. Should be in the mix. GUY FROM DUBAI won his last two and ran on strongly last time in a feature on sand. Should be right there again. YER-MAAN has also won his last three by running on. Chance with Piere Strydom aboard. STORM WARNING hasn't won for a while. Should have a chance this C & D.

1st – S'IL VOUS PLAIT (11/2) (4); 2nd – SAVAGE WIND (9); 3rd – GUY FROM DUBAI (3/1 F) (11); 4th - YER-MAAN (1); 5th – STORM WARNING (5)

17 DREAM GALAXY A 6 52.0 Stephen Moffatt Reserve 1
18 DANISH ZEALOT (AUS) A T 8 52.0 Weiho Marwing Reserve 2

RACE 6

PINE PRINCESS is still improving and was not disgraced in a Grade 1 at Greyville in July. ERIN ran on well to win over the distance last time. SUPREME SUNSET did cause a major upset when last time when winning a small feature. Be wary of this one! TOUCH THE SKY has raced well against top fields. Second run after a break. MOHAVE PRINCESS is still improving. One to consider.

1st – PINE PRINCESS (5/2 F) (12); 2nd – ERIN (7); 3rd – SUPREME SUNSET (2); 4th - TOUCH THE SKY (1); 5th – MOHAVE PRINCESS (6)

9 NATIONAL KEY A T 8 52.0 Brian Wiid Ryan Munger
10 ONE COOL CAT A B 1 52.0 Tyrone Zackey Craig Zackey

RACE 7

MYTHICAL PALACE takes on stronger than last time but was finishing extremely well. DELIVER THE POWER has won five from eight this C & D. Look for another very good run and finish. ONE MAN'S DREAM won his last two at the Vaal against slightly weaker. Piere Strydom rides. NATIONAL KEY has more to find but has been finishing well. Outside place chance. TIGER TERRITORY weakens but respect trainer and jockey combination.

1st – MYTHICAL PALACE (5/1) (2); 2nd – DELIVER THE POWER (9/4 F) (1); 3rd – ONE MAN'S DREAM (4); 4th - NATIONAL KEY (9); 5th – TIGER TERRITORY (5)

RACE 8

PYRAMUS showed excellent improvement in his third run last time. Respect. PARADE PRANCER has decent form and the yard has been consistent with their winners. ULTIMATE TIGER is never far back but will need a far better finish. BAKSTEEN could be improving. AL COUTURE was moderate on debut. Will improve.

1st – PYRAMUS (833/100) (7); 2nd – PARADE PRANCER (2); 3rd – ULTIMATE TIGER (1); 4th - BAKSTEEN (5/2 F) (6); 5th – AL COUTURE (9)
