Ireland TARGETING INDIAN MARKET


Elaine Hatton was representing ITM in India last week along with representatives from Goffs, Coolmore Stud, Red Mills and TRM with the focus very much on promoting the upcoming Irish breeding stock sales. Goffs and ITM jointly sponsored the RWITC Gold Cup at Pune Racecourse on Sunday and it was won by Circle Of Bliss, owned by long term supporters of Irish bloodstock Vijay Shirke, Khushroo Dhunjibhoy and Berjis Desai. There was also success on the card for Dr Cyrus Poonawalla, part owner of Gordon Lord Byron (IRE) and whose Polished Chrome landed the TRM sponsored race. Polished Chrome is by the former John Oxx trained Arazan who now stands at the Poonawalla Stud Farms in India.
