ENTISAAR looks to be best bet on the card

  Race-3 (Turf) R 200 000 1100m 13:30 - Grade 3 PRETTY POLLY STAKES For 2 year-old Fillies - ENTISAAR looks to be best bet on the card

The first feature of the day sees the Mike De Kock runner, ENTISAAR, making his second track appearance. If her second run is half as good as her debut in the Ruffian Stakes then she should still win. The More Than Ready filly won easily on her debut and looked right from the start that she could be something really special. This afternoon should tell us just how good she is. It must be remembered though that on that day she carried only 55kg against the 58kg of those that had run. As a winner she reverts back to the 58kg this afternoon. She is bound to improve even further on the evidence of that run and the extra 3kg should not be too much of a problem. Anthony Delpech has the ride

The Sean Tarry trained MABONICK ran well last time when she won her maiden at this track in December. Sher won very impressively and has Piere Strydom riding her for the first time today. Should apply the pressure, especially if she runs on late again from off the pace.

The one that could give ENTISAAR some cheek is the Corne Spies runner, SPEEDY SUZIE. When they met last time it was SPEEDY SUZIE'S second run. She showed pace that day but tired in the latter stages. She carried 58kg and is now 3kg better off for the 1.25 length beating. It looks as though ENTISAAR still has further improvement to come and the 3kg may not have much of an effect.

Trainer Luck Houdalakis sends out EMPEROR'S LASS. She won on debut last time when she did some low level flying to touch off VARUMBA on the line. Consider her for trifectas and quartets.

Trainer Sean Tarry sends out an interesting runner in OLD EM, Daughter of TRIPPI. The betting on her and well as the canter past should be your best guide.

1st - ENTISAAR (2); 2nd - MABONICK (3); 3rd - SPEEDY SUZIE (6); 4th - EMPEROR'S LASS (1); 5th - OLD EM (10)
