PREVIEW:FAIRVIEW (POLYTRACK) - 6 JULY 2015
RACE 1:
FOR LUCK SAKE did some low level flying to finish a head back in second last time. Chance on that. SAN DIEGO also ran on late last time. PLAIN OF WISDOM wilted late on the turf this distance last time. SUN NEVER SETS ran his best race in a long time last time. ROMAN GARRISON has had two good runs to date, both on the poly.
1st - FOR LUCK SAKE (9); 2nd - SAN DIEGO (5); 3rd - PLAIN OF WISDOM (2); 4th - SUN NEVER SETS (6); 5th - ROMAN GARRISON (13)
RACE 2:
RARE FLAME will be staying on and has good form. AL-AMADI can go close if reproducing her best form and finds a good finish. PARTY FAVOUR has improved markedly in her last two. PRICY ASSET never showed last time. Chance on previous. RUNAWAY TIME could be improving again.

RACE 3:
BOLLYWOOD BABE was forced out wide into the home straight last time. Chance if repeating. JOY OF HOPE has been consistent of late. Ran on well this C & D last time. COULOMB ran her best race in seven last time and still had her excuses/ ST TERESINA has shown small improvement in each of her three starts. WEASEL has better form over shorter.
1st - BOLLYWOOD BABE (2); 2nd - JOY OF HOPE (3); 3rd - COULOMB (10); 4th - ST TERESINA (14); 5th - WEASEL (7)
RACE 4:
NATIONAL ROAD has been ultra consistent. Last two runs best in a while. Runs well on the polytrack. MAXIMO finished well this distance on turf last time. GALAO has not been disgraced in his post maiden runs. OREO was bumped at the start in his post maiden last time. May improve. FRENCH LASS weakened late last time. Is ideally C & D suited.
1st - NATIONAL ROAD (3); 2nd - MAXIMO (4); 3rd - GALAO (10); 4th - OREO (5); 5th - FRENCH LASS (6)
RACE 5:
KALAMAIN has won over 1800m before and has placed over further. Ran a fair fifth behind ST TROPEZ in the East Cape Derby two runs back. Chance on that run. NAVAL INTELLIGENCE ran on when finishing second over further last time. SANFONEIRO has only won over this distance, one of which was this C & D. DELLA DANZA has yet to run on the poly in PE. Has won over 1900m before. LAGO CUOMO takes a steep step up in class. Should be finishing well.

RACE 6:
SOUL SACRIFICE will be finishing well and has placed over the distance. SHINE LIKE A STAR is never back and will be running on. is a C & D winner. VIRTUAL EMBLEM held on well to win this C & D last time. Can repeat and win again. BLACK PLATINUM stayed on well against weaker last time. Chance with 52kg on his back. CAPTAINS SLIPPER won his maiden at the second attempt last time. May need to confirm.

RACE 7:
TOUR DE VAR has good form against stronger. Should run well here. MISS FRISKIE ran on smartly last time. Enjoys the distance. BENEDICT weakened late against stronger last time. All seven wins have been over the distance. VERLAINE has a chance with the light mass. THE JET could be improving again.

RACE 8:
SHAKE AND BAKE drops in class and has won her last four starts, all at this track. Will be fighting on late. VANISHING SAILS also drops in class but hasn't won in ten months. SMASHVILLE has improved in PE and ran on in her post maiden last time. KATIE EM ran an extremely encouraging race last time when running on strongly after a slow start. SWEET PARADE is never too far back. Stayed on well last time.

RACE 9:
LOVE FROM AL was rewarded for good form last time when finishing well over shorter. Chance this distance. DANCING IN THE SNOW has good post maiden form and can win again soon. SISTER SYBIL must have a chance if running on as in her penultimate start. NIGHT DANCER may find a place at best. SEXY AND FREE may battle with the draw and 60kg.
