PREVIEW: KENILWORTH - 22 JULY 2015
RACE 1:
Keep an eye on the betting. There are a number of well bred first timers in this race. Of those that have run, SECRET NAME, has been improving nicely in her three runs thus far. MISS PRISS is unreliable. Can earn.
1st - SWEET CHILD O MINE (12); 2nd - SECRET NAME (10); 3rd - NEOMA (9); 4th - TRIPPA (4); 5th - MISS PRISS (1)
RACE 2:
The one to follow could be PRINCE LATERAL who ran on strongly in his third start last time. NUTBUSH should not be too far back as he too ran an improved race last time. BRILLIANT CRIMSON has been expensive to follow in his three starts. By no means out of it. LEAGUE OF LEGIONS has some improving to do but can place at best along with FREE AGENT who failed to show on debut last time.
1st - PRINCE LATERAL (9); 2nd - NUTBUSH (8); 3rd - BRILLIANT CRIMSON (2); 4th - LEAGUE OF LEGIONS (7); 5th - FREE AGENT (5)
RACE 3:
Some mediocre sorts face the starter in this race, but MERITOCRACY ran on really well last time giving her an excellent chance of winning. NOISETTE has had her chances but still has a shout in this field. JAMAICA ME CRAZY has been a slow improver with some way to go for the win. Both SCENIC ROUTE and VAN DAM'S FORCE, who may improve.
1st - MERITOCRACY (7); 2nd - NOISETTE (9); 3rd - JAMAICA ME CRAZY (5); 4th - SCENIC ROUTE (10); 5th - VAN DAM'S FORCE (11)
RACE 4:
LITTLE CHAPEL ran well in her last two starts and looks to be best equipped to win this race. QUICK STEP ROSIE runs for the eighteenth time as a maiden but did show some improvement last time. SEVENTH SISTER has shown something in recent runs and did stay on last time over shorter. ETERNAL WINTER is never without a chance and has looked threatening when running on. LOST WITHOUT YOU needs to find a better finish.
1st - LITTLE CHAPEL (8); 2nd - QUICK STEP ROSIE (4); 3rd - SEVENTH SISTER (3); 4th - ETERNAL WINTER (1); 5th - LOST WITHOUT YOU (9)
RACE 5:
BOYES DRIVE has won two from four and ran on well to record his second win last time by over two lengths over this C & D. Looks ready to win again. BOSTON CELTIC also won this C & D last time when running on strongly. Another one with a decent shout. AIR CHIEF MARSHAL got going late in his post maiden last time. May have more to find. THAT COWBOY KID is unbeaten this C & D (3 from 3) and finished well to win last time. All three wins this C & D. SHEPHERDS PURSE has a top jockey today. Respect.

RACE 6:
The two year old JO'S BOND takes on older. Won her last two (maiden and post maiden). MISTICO LADY is in good form and rarely runs a bad race. Should go close. MATIES WILDEKAT is speedy but hasn't won for a while. PERPETUA will benefit from an apprentice claiming 4kg. SMILING PRINCESS has more to find for the win but has a place shout.
1st - JO'S BOND (6); 2nd - MISTICO LADY (7); 3rd - MATIES WILDEKAT (4); 4th - PERPETUA (3); 5th - SMILING MISTRESS (10)
RACE 7:
IRISH DYNASTY ran against stronger last time but won his penultimate start very well over this C & D. Was moderate before that. Should go close if maintaining recent runs. AREZZO has a shout if reproducing his form in the East Cape Derby when fourth behind ST TROPEZ last time. That was his post maiden run. Should come on from that effort. PRIVATE DOOWALEY disappointed last time. Chance on previous. PARACHUTE MAN was not disgraced against stronger last time. DRAGONSTONE needs to find a better finish.

Not an easy race. BELLE JULIETTE has been inconsistent but on her day can win this. Only win was almost a year ago. STUDY THE STARS is never too far back and is a C & D winner. GUEST OF HONOUR won her maiden easily last time at the sixth attempt. May need to confirm. EMERALD ROSE ran a good enough post maiden last time to suggest that she could go close again this afternoon while the two year old RED HOT LADY has scope but may find this though.
