Something for everyone on what looks a very interesting Sunday meeting at Kranji and following on from Friday, there should be plenty of value if we can find a winner given the depth of the fields.
Case in point is the Open mile (race 9) where most look to have a winning hope from the top-rated GOODMAN to the progressive A LA VICTORY on the minimum.
The E Course (long) could see horses on the pace being hard to run down but with a very true pace expected here, everyone should get a fair crack.
GOODMAN and GOODPACK are two likely to go forward early but with the exception of a couple of Argentineans trying to find their feet in Singapore, the chasing pack will be right on their hammer.
A LA VICTORY with 50kg will have admirers and probably look the winner at some stage while the in-form MARTIN will be the one closing late if close enough when it matters.
But one that may be value and upset them all is the former Kiwi galloper, ALBANY REUNION.
A Group 1 winner over the mile before arriving in Singapore, ALBANY REUNION showed enough improvement at his second start at Kranji over 1400m behind DANIEL to think he is ready to show his best and this race does look suitable.
Elsewhere on the card, OVER EASY (race 9) looks very well placed over 1800m in Kranji Stakes D Company and expect a very cheeky run at odds with no weight.
Best Bets: (SHANGHAI BUND race 11, win), (OVER EASY race 8, each-way) and (ALBANY REUNION race 9, value).
Bankers for Jackpots: Race 8 (1, 2, 4, 5, 10 and 11), race 9 (1, 2, 3, 4, 8 and 9), race 10 (2, 3, 5, 6 and 7), race 11 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8).

RACE 8: KRANJI STAKES D (SET WEIGHTS) - 1800M COURSE E (LC) (TURF) TIME: 16:25 PRIZE MONEY: S$38000
Larry says, "A KSD over 1800m with some dour ones involved. And given it's on the E Course we may look at OVER EASY who is likely to lead and lead well. The connections have again gone for a 4kg claim and he will give them something to pass. PRINCE MAG is the in form runner. This could be a bit short for him but if he gets a solid tempo from the likes of OVER EASY, he will be running on late. SUPER JOE has placed at this level twice in his past three starts and can be running on late. TEQUILA SHOT ran on well last start on the poly and both his wins have been on turf: he can be in the finish. Of the rest, KEEP SPINNING ran on very well last start after breaking maiden status the start prior, DRAGON can be running on late, JIMTOWN will appreciate getting back on turf, BEST LIFE broke through in Maiden company last start and TIP OF BORNEO is on trial the trip but could be handy throughout."

RACE 9: OPEN HANDICAP - 1600M COURSE E (LC) (TURF) TIME: 17:00 PRIZE MONEY: S$125000
Larry says, "An Open Handicap over 1600m and ALBANY REUNION gets his chance to show if he is up to the task in Singapore. A Group 1 winner over the mile in New Zealand, ALBANY REUNION raced on the pace and fought on well last start over 1400m so gets his chance. GOODPACK has no weight and this distance suits, he is trialing well and could be hard to run down. Laurie Laxon has a couple of good chances in GOODMAN who faded badly last start but is better suited here and should be prominent throughout, The stablemate MARTIN is racing well, he is better suited over longer but can be closing late. A LA VICTORY is tested at the mile but is in spanking form so has to be considered seriously. Amongst the others THUMPING is an honest mare who is suited at the journey and can race well while TROPAIOS has been trialing well but might want longer."

RACE 10: CLASS 4 - 1000M (POLYTRACK) TIME: 17:30 PRIZE MONEY: S$60000
Larry says, "An ordinary Class 4 over 1100m on the poly and COTE DE NUITS gets another chance to break through. The 5YO has placed at his past three outings in Class 4 and KSD and Manoel Nunes gets another chance to get him over the line. MASTERMIND struggles to win but has plenty of speed and can give a sight. PINT SIZED PRINCE drops significantly in grade and whilst this is a bit short on recent runs, this was his caper for most of his career and could be running on late. Amongst the rest, HADES is resuming after placing at his last start over this trip, LADY ROULETTE has speed and can be prominent throughout, while GOLDEN RABBIT ran on well last start and has been improved by the tongue-tie."

RACE 11: CLASS 4 - 1400M COURSE E (LC) (TURF) TIME: 18:00 PRIZE MONEY: S$60000
Larry says, "A reasonable quality Class 4 over 1400m closes the programme and too many winning hopes to be confident and obviously go wide in exotics. SHANGHAI BUND ran on well in Novice company last start, he shows some promise and his only win was at this trip. SPLICE drops in grade and is suited at this trip, he can be in the finish and is often value. The track may suit on pace runners so MILLION ROUND comes into consideration. If the race is set up for swoopers, CALIFORNIAN JET ran on well to win in KSD company last start; he has won at this level and should be hard to hold out. Of the rest, KEVIN ELEVEN also scored well in similar company last start and he should be handy throughout, the winkers go on ODE TO JOY, the blinkers go on HOME RUN HERO and the last start Initiation winners in LIM’S SPIRIT and NEWLANDS could show up."
