GREEN STREET STRIKE AT CTS READY TO RUN SALE

We have been following the steady growth of the bloodstock and syndication company over recent weeks and the Green Street Bloodstock team made their first seven figure purchase when going to R1.2million for lot 64 at the weekend’s Lanzerac Ready To Run sale. Lot 64 was one of the stand out colts on the draft being by crack Australasian sire Sebring, from a stakes winning dam who has already produced a Group 1 winner in the form of South African Guineas winning superstar, Le Drakkar. Green Street director Justin Vermaak said “ We bought him for a big client of ours who has enjoyed some big recent success, particularly in the Australasian market and in Ready To Run races. At the current exchange rate he was an absolute bargain and great value for money considering a horse of his nature could easily have fetched 2 or 3 times the price if sold in Australia.”

Green Street also managed to secure a few other lots on the sale which will go into racing under their syndication banner. All information on horses available for syndication can be received visiting the website www.greenstreetbloodstock.co.za and dropping an email!
