RACE 1:

SWAKOPMUND hasn't raced for three months. Won his maiden very easily last time over this C & D. Has been gelded since. Certainly has a good chance of following up. HERE WE ARE is a six year old mare taking on males. Will be finishing strongly. MR ROY can never be left out. Has a decent chance in this field. ROY'S GUL GUL HA won his maiden at the eleventh attempt last time. Held on last time. WHISTLING WONDER has run well in her last three including a C & D win.

RACE 2:

UMBUSI has been running on in his last two. Could make the frame. WHAT A POET made an impressive winning debut last time. Is worth following again. GREY'S A ROCKIN weakened latter stages of his post maiden run last time. AVARICIOUS is way too inconsistent but an apprentice claim of 4 kg should help. BERMUDA is a reserve runner who could feature if getting the opportunity to run. Ran on nicely last time.

RACE 3:

NUNTIUS is a WESTERN WINTER first timer. Anton Marcus has the ride! PAMPAS is a SILVANO first timer. Keep an eye on the betting on all first timers. PROMISSORY is an OVERLORD first timer. SMART WORLD lost a length on debut last time. Could improve. SON OF SILVER has yet to run a bad race in five starts. Ran on last time.

RACE 4:

SILKEN is a SILVANO first timer. Watch the betting. PAIX EMBLEME has begun to feature more and more. Will win her maiden sooner rather than later. HEY GEORGIE GIRL improved by seven lengths in her second attempt. SEATTLE BELLE ran on when making her debut last time after a slow start. BRIGTNUMBERFIVE has had two good runs but had noting to come late last time.

JACK THE KNIFE must have a chance on his last two vastly improved runs. PURPLE SPLASH has the chance to show improvement this afternoon. APPLE OF NEW YORK is an A P ARROW first timer. One to consider. JABUTICABA has had two improved runs since making his debut three runs ago. LORD CHANCERY has more to find but may pick up a small cheque.

FLYFIRSTCLASS has good form and did run on well to win last time. ICE MACHINE is never far back and he did run on last time. IT IS WRITTEN has been finding a finish of late. Not to be ignored. LONDON CALL has excellent form. Travels this far for the first time. Should be in the shake up. BUNKER BILL ran a good post maiden against weaker last time. Has scope for improvement.

RACE 7:

SIR EARL GRAY has a chance on a vastly improved latest effort. CAPEL TOP won his last two either side of this 1800m distance. Should be finding extra late. RAP ATTACK ran on well last time in an improved effort. Has a shout. RACING SOCKS ran on when winning over further last time. That was on the turf track. GUILTY AS CHARGED has had two very good post maiden runs. Not out of it either.

RACE 8:

OLMA ran a good second in the Michaelmas Handicap last time. This will be easier. The one to beat. FUTURE FANTASTIC was subject to a betting coup last time. Can repeat that good win. SABAHA failed to show at Turffontein last time. Is better than that run. That was also against much stronger. DUCHESS KATE was finishing strongly in her last two. Won over further last time. SUPERCEDE has been slow at the start in recent times. Place chance.

RACE 9:

JAMA has had two good runs to date. Should go even closer with the experience. WINTER'S HEIR was nabbed close home last time. ROYAL CHAMPION was slow out the gates last time but was quicker than that at the finish. Chance if repeating that finish. SECRET SERVICE ran his best race in three last time when running on after a slow start. SCOTS PARTY is never far back. Yard in form and apprentice claims 4 kg. Is not out of it for the win either.
