RACE 1:

PONT DU GUARD has had two good runs thus far. Hard to oppose. PACIFIC SPIRIT made a very good debut last time. Most likely challenger. CHESTNUT'S VOW faded late on debut last time. GREAT WAVES is a GREAT BRITAIN first timer. BONFIRE NIGHT had a fair debut run last time.

RACE 2:

BLUE DAWN won her last five. Could be better over 1200m. BLIZZARD BELLE broke the South African record for the fastest 1000m last time. Won her last four. HOUSE OF LORRAINE could have more to find for the win. ARGO'S JEWEL is inconsistent. Is distance suited but not track suited. BALOO BALLERIE is also inconsistent. Both wins this C & D.

RACE 3:

ZANZIBAR BEAT was well supported this C & D last time. Ran her best race in four. FOURTEEN has been holding form and had some good runs to date. MINNAKUTA has run well in two of her three starts thus far and should be finishing well. EXHALTED may improve with 4 kg off her back. ISTAS can find a place at best.

RACE 4:

GOODNIGHT NURSE could cause an upset in the first leg of the PA. He has been showing some improvement and finished well last time. NIRVANA should improve in PE. First run here. GALLACTIC THUNDER was slow away on debut last time. Great finish and one to watch for the win. WINDBREAK has been inconsistent in his four runs thus far. First run in PE. Top jockey rides. EVICTION disappointed last time. Two good runs before that.

RACE 5:

CONQUERING QUEEN is battling for that second win but form is decent and with a light galloping mass, should be right up there at the end of the race. SPIAGGIA could be losing form but has an apprentice claiming 4 kg which should be of major benefit. Has been falling down the merit ratings at almost the same pace as the devaluing of the Rand. SEVENTH MISSION needs to be considered despite the decline in recent form. CLASSIC DELIGHT did not act over further last time. FLIGHTOFTHEFALCON has more to find on both post maiden runs.

RACE 6:

MEMPHIS MAFIA has to have a very good chance of winning on his current very good form. WELSH EMPEROR has won two from three and is improving. Hat trick chance. KING OF CHAOS last ran in the Dingaans in November and even though he finished eight lengths behind NOAH FROM GOA that day, must have a shout. PAULUS has no form but is a lunatic choice. Could cause an upset. AGTERSKOT won well last time but this will be stronger.

1st - MEMPHIS MAFIA (1); 2nd - WELSH EMPEROR (4); 3rd - KING OF CHAOS (3); 4th - PAULUS (5); 5th - AGTERSKOT (12) 

RACE 7:

THREE G has improve in her last two and has finished strongly in both. ROSE AND CROWN has been very consistent for a while now and will be doing her best work late. Top jockey aboard. RED HOT LADY drops in lass but has something to find.; KING'S FIRE won her maiden at the twelfth attempt last time. Maiden form before win was very good. AETHER won this C & D two runs back but post maiden run disappointed.

RACE 8:

DISTINGUISHED has not won in almost two years. Has decent form though. Will be looking to get back to winning ways. READYTOGORIGHTNOW is a distance winner. He will be looking to get into the action late on in the race. SWEDISH KING is never too far back and he stayed on well last time. ETERNAL JET won against similar last time when finishing well. The extra should suit. GRAPE VINE has been improving. Top yard and top jockey. Every owner's dream!

1st - DISTINGUISHED (3); 2nd - READYTOGORIGHTNOW (1); 3rd - SWEDISH KING (7); 4th - ETERNAL JET (8); 5th - GRAPE VINE (9) 

RACE 9:

ARCSIGN drops in class. Is never too far back and will be finishing well. Has the ability to win this race. REBEL FLAME has improved in his last two and looks to have a decent chance of getting close again. AFTER THE CARNIVAL is currently in good form and could sneak home in this low level handicap. NATIONAL KING is never far back and will be running on. Top jockey aboard. One to include. UNCONDITIONAL disappointed last time. Can get into the fray, but not on last run.
