Jockey Dane O’Neill, who was rushed to hospital after he was unshipped from Kifaah in the Golden Shaheen at Meydan on World Cup Night, was discharged on Sunday and flew home to Britain.
His agent Nicky Adams said: “I think he’s okay and just a bit battered and bruised. He called this morning to say he will be getting a flight this evening and he’ll obviously have a few days off to recuperate when he gets home.
“There was a worry about a possible punctured lung but that’s all fine, he’s just very sore.”
