BLIZZARD KING made a good debut last time. Starts slowly but finished quickly. The one to beat. SOUTHERN SUNSET also ran on when making her debut last time. WINTER STREAK has shown very good improvement after her debut four runs back. SINGITA SWENI has shown some potential. SIR FAST makes his debut.

RACE 3:

7-8-11-13-4

DANCE IN THE WOODS won't be far back. JAY BELLE runs her best races this C & D. Good recent form. JAMINNA has improved in her last two. NIGHT DANCER ran on well to win over the distance last time. PARTY TIBBS may improve.

RACE 4:

7-5-8-10-1

JAM TART is in very good form. Has improved in PE. Hat trick chance. KUMIKO invariably runs well. Can go close. MIRROR THE MOON will need to repeat penultimate run. CHERRY ORCHARD will be finishing well and has finished second this C & D. LUCKY GAMBLE has a good chance with a drop in class.

RACE 5:

2-6-5-1-4

HAZEL JAY has not won in a while but form is decent. PRETTY AND POPULAR ran a fair post maiden run last time. Finished well. OYSTER NUT ran on well in an improved run last time. CUP BEARER may improve on a moderate post maiden effort last time. SHAWL had some decent runs on the Highveld. First two PE runs below best.

RACE 6:

1-5-9-11-7

SIMMERING won last time against slightly stronger. Can repeat despite top weight. ALL THE BIDS is holding form well. NEBRA will need to repeat penultimate run. Top yard and jockey. THUNDER PUNCH  may improve on a moderate post maiden last time. FACEBOOK is battling for win number six.

RACE 7:

2-4-7-3-5

This has the makings of being a very good race. RED BARREL has not run in three months but his form has been very good. He will be doing his best work late and should be right up there again. His should have stiff opposition from the Cape Town raider, ASHTON PARK. He has faced some of the best horses in the country and he seems to be improving in time to go close in this race. TRUE MASTER will be running on. Top yard and jockey. NORMANZ has been running on over shorter. This could be the limited as to his distance. DISTINGUISHED had his excuses last time but can fill a placing.

RACE 8:

13-3-15-9-1

THE WILD MISTRESS has been showing good post maiden form despite having returned bleeding and with respiratory noises last time. NIGHT OUT has excellent form. Did not enjoy racing around the turn last time in his only blemish in three starts. Won both starts this C & D. THRILL FACTOR returns from suspension of two months after having bled last time. Chance if ready. PIRANGI disappointed in Cape Town. Good form before that. First run in PE and for new yard. KANARA may improve with a drop in class.

RACE 9:

2-4-5-13-12

JAY'S MAN has the form to win and is never too far back. Will be right there again. Drops in class. COVARIANCE also drops in class and has the form over this C & D. STRATOCRUISER has not run in just over four months. New yard and first run in PE. ARMORIAL usually runs on very well. Only win this C & D. IN FULL REGALIA showed huge improvement in his last two in Cape Town. First run in PE. watch this one.

RACE 10:

1-18-9-10-3

SORBONNE showed good improvement last time when running on to win. CORAL KEY ran an improved race last time. Can go close in a moderate field. JUNIPER improved last time but needs to run on better. CREDIBILITY did stay on last time. MIDNIGHT LACE makes her PE debut. Some fair form in KZN. Drops in class.
