TIRZAN (12) lo0o0ks to have the beating of this field on form. The rest do not look up to much but need to be considered. They are AMBER FLASH (1), RONIN WARRIOR (11), the first timer JINGLE JANGLE (9) and GREAT WHITE FLEET (2)

RACE 2:

There are a number of well bred first timers in this race. Watch with caution and check the betting. Ones to follow could be SAIL FOR JOY (11) who made a good debut last time plus the first timers, RASMAAL (10), BOLD VIKING (3), MEXICAN SUN (7), CUT THE CARDS (4) and ARISTOCAT (2) with a run under his belt.

RACE 3:

LEBANESE TRACTOR (10) has had two good runs from three starts and should have the measure of this field. One has to consider the first timers as they could be anything. Ones that could be worth considering are FRENCH LEGEND (7) and COMME-CI-COMME-CA  (3) while FASHION BLAST (5) and BEZGAL (2) will be looking to improve.

RACE 4:

The Sean Tarry trained SHINE BRIGHT (11) has not run for five months but did make a good debut that run. If not needing the run she should be the one to beat. Two stable companions from the Sean Tarry yard with winning chances are SHAH'S STORM (10). S'Manga Khumalo has opted to ride her. TENNESSEE RED (13) is first timer from the same yard. All three have top jockeys aboard. PRINCESS AURORA (9) has had two decent runs and should be involved. CAPTURED QUALITY (1) can place. C & D suited.

RACE 5:

DRIFTING DUSK (2) ran on strongly last time. Takes on slightly weaker. Very good chance. FIRSTIMESACHARM (3) also drops in class and is C & D suited. Inconsistent and will have to repeat penultimate run. BALLY SWISS (4) steps up in class but is in such good form that she must have a chance. Very good form this C & D and gos for the hat trick. SHIVERING SEA (10) has a place chance with another light mass. HONOLUA BAY (9) is never far back but needs a better finish.

RACE 6:

SEEKING VENUS (3) has run twice for a maiden win on debut and a good second last time. Has returned both occasions with respiratory noises. Top yard and jockey. TRACY'S LEGACY (4) has very good form. Won her maiden at the sixth attempt last time. Never out of the placings and never far back. MONARCH AIR (1) may improve this afternoon. TELL MY STAR (10) is improving. LA MANGA (7) could be ready to run into the money.

RACE 7:

DELAMERE (3) is never too far away. Can win if running on again. LEIGH WOODS (9) stayed on in an improved run last time. GREY'S A ROCKIN (2) will need to repeat penultimate. The balance of the runners to be given a chance are KANONKOP (4) and MR BALBOA (8).

RACE 8:

NERO (5) showed sudden improvement last time. Could be worth considering. ROVING JET (6) has good form and could go close. RAIN SHADOW (1) ran a decent race on Thursday at the Vaal. NIGHT RAIDER (10) also showed sudden improvement last time. PACIFIC G (12) has been consistent. One to consider for a place, at least.

RACE 9:

This as also not a strong race. EBONY KNIGHT (13) is a KAHAL first timer who could have a shout in this field. Watch the betting. JUST A GIGOLO (2) has some good form. Looks to be the best of the raced horses. MAN THE FORT (8) showed improvement on Saturday. Can confirm today. MENDOZA’S MELODY (7) has had some ill luck. STREETWEAR (3) has shown ability. One to keep an eye on.
