NEWYORKSTATEOFMIND (3) may have just found something last start. First run KZN. PERPETUAL SILENCE (10) has had two good runs thus far. ESCOVITCH (1) hangs but is never too far back. MAJIX (2) has good enough form to win. WINTER IS COMING (12) is steady but needs more to win.

RACE 2:

This looks to be a three horse race with COURAGEOUS KING (1) looking to be the most likely winner on form. TRINITY HALL (2) has shown very good improvement last two while the steady PORTMAN SQUARE (3) could complete the trifecta. Others to throw in are RISKY DANCER (9) and NAKED TRUTH (5)

RACE 3:

ENLIGHTENMENT (1) has really improved in her three KZN runs. Should win soon. BACK IN TOWN (7) has decent form and should challenge. MAGGIE MUGGINS (12) may improve on a moderate debut last time. WILLOWGRANGE  (5) should not be ignored. STREETS OF GOLD (4) needs a better finish.

RACE 4:

BLACK FLOWER (4) improved in her last run before a change of yards. ROY'S MONKEY (2) is likely to improve to win soon. AVAST (3) has been running well of late. DELILAH (1) may improve with blinkers. OBLADI OBLADA (5) is inconsistent.

RACE 5:

BLACK TRACTOR (1) has done enough in his last four races to suggest that he should pick up his second win soon. BUSTER BROWN (6) will be running on and he is running well at present. TIPO TINTO (4) is capable of popping up. SURREY (2) invariably runs well this C & D.  ROY’S AIR FORCE (3) can improve with 4 kg of his back. Add DYNAMIC FORCE (7) for the scratched horse. It is current favourite.

RACE 6:

WANDIE'S (5) won comfortably last time. Is C & D suited. Can repeat. OFF RAMP (2) ran on well behind WANDIE'S last time. Is 3½ kg worse off. NEWS FILTER (4) ran on well last time. May go close. THALER POINT (11) may improve to place. SILVER INSPIRATION (7) is another who may improve this afternoon.

RACE 7:

KING DJANGO (9) will be running on again. Good chance. ARGO'S JET (1) has very good form. Good chance if breaking on terms. BOLD APPROACH (5) has not won in almost fourteen months. Has the capability of winning today. LET'S GO WEST (11) has been improving as has the yard. BREAKFAST CLUB (3) won his maiden at the third attempt last time. Had two good runs before the win. May need to confirm.

RACE 8:

DIAMOND LEAGUE (6) won her maiden two runs back. Has yet to run a bad race. One to follow? NATATELA (3) should start improving in KZN now. ALZERRA (1) is C & D suited. DURBAN BLUES (2) can stay on. Also C & D suited. MOGOKITY (5) could improve to place.

RACE 9:

MR MCSTEAMY (4) could improve with the blinkers. Top jockey aboard. VICTORY TEAM (3) is a two year old who improved well in his third run to win his maiden last time. VAMPIRELLA (1) showed good improvement to warrant respect. ROMAN SOCIETY (5) showed great improvement last time. Top jockey aboard. JASON ARGO (10) has only won this C & D.

BEST BET: RACE 3 NUMBER 1 ENLIGHTENMENT
