Twelve fillies are set to line up in Saturday’s Gr2 Gold Bracelet Brought To You By Blythedale Coastal Resort at Greyville.This Weight For Age plus penalties race promises to be a thrilling event, with the race’s highest rated runner, Olma, looking a huge runner here.

A daughter of prominent sire Dynasty, Olma (drawn nicely at three), comes into the race having flown up late for second in the recent Gr1 Garden Province Stakes, when accounting for some of South Africa’s top fillies and mares.

The Frank Robinson should be a big runner on that form, and clearly loves Greyville – she has won five times at the course. On the Garden Province run, Olma holds Intergalactic (fourth), but meets her worse 0.5 kgs worse off for her last run.Three-year-olds are well represented in the 2016 Gold Bracelet –five sophomores line up here, with the highest rated being the above mentioned Intergalactic and Nightingale. The latter showed great promise this season when finishing runner up in the G2 Daisy Fillies Guineas and third in the G1 Woolavington 2000 (behind leading Equus Award contender Bela-Bela), but was disappointing last time out when only fourth in the Gr3 Track And Ball Oaks.A wide draw of 11 won’t help the Bass trained Nightingale here but if she can repeat her runs behind the talented Bela-Bela must be a big runner here.

Lammerskraal Stud’s resident sire Go Deputy has a pair of runners in this R400 000 race and both Flying Ice (2nd) and Deputy Ryder (3rd) finished in front of Nightingale, as well as fellow Bracelet contenders Patchit Up Baby, Gathering Fame, and Ma Choix, when the trio met in the Oaks last time out.Just half a length separated Flying Ice and Deputy Ryder last time out and it should again be close between them here.

Zante will be bidding to give her Saudi Arabia bound trainer Neil Bruss a farewell feature when she lines up Saturday’s Gr2 feature. The daughter of Ideal World was given a superb ride by Anton Marcus last time out when romping to victory in the Listed Queen Palm Stakes. She does face a tougher task here and may not get such an easy time of it.Lala, who tries the trip for a first time, takes a massive step up in class and looks well held at their past meetings by Olma, while Adorada was beaten over eight lengths by Nightingale and has plenty to do to reverse that form.
