RACE 1 WELCOME TO FLAMINGO PARK MAIDEN PLATE - 1200 METERS. 12:20 PM.

Selections 2-3-5-7

Chestnut (2) Is getting better with each and every run in this centre, and he will be cherry ripe for this race. Emporio Mani (3) Is capable over this course and distance, but is held by his stable mate on their last run. Julie (5) Ran the best race of her career last time out, she can build on that performance and run into the money. Apostle Advancing (7) Was disappointing in his Flamingo Park debut, but he will strip a much fitter horse for this contest.

RACE 2 THE GRAND HERITAGE 01 OCTOBER MR 72 HANDICAP - 1000 METERS. 12.50 PM.

Selections 2-4-1-3

Harmston Herald (2) Had excuses last time out, and she will be a much fitter horse here, she is the one to beat if she reproduces her prior form. Bulle Bakkies (4) Stayed on nicely for third when last seen on the racecourse, he should once again make his presence felt at the finish. Heavenly Express (1) gave a fair account of himself in his latest racetrack appearance, expect another honest effort here. SongOfFireAndIce (3) has not produced best form as of late, but cannot be left out of trifectas and quartets.

RACE 3 SOCCER GG MAIDEN PLATE - 1600 METERS. 13.20 PM.

Selections 4-6-2-5

Russian Saint (4) Is capable over a variety of distances, and ran on steadily for second last time out, he is the horse they all have to catch if he reproduces that run. Sweet Turn (6) Must be forgiven for a below par effort in his latest performance, six furlongs is way too short for him, he will be a lot better over the mile. Jam Rock (2) Was disappointing when last seen on the racecourse, however he has proven himself to enjoy the mile, and can definitely run a place here. Blues King (5) Produced a moderate run in his latest racetrack appearance, he may show further improvement over an extra furlong or two.

RACE 4 COMPUTAFORM EXPRESS MAIDEN PLATE (FILLIES & MARES) - 1600 METERS. 13.50 PM.

Selections 1-8-11-7

Jozi Babe (1) Has placed in her last two starts, she is improving rapidly, and should she continue to do so, she will be the horse to beat. Ginger Sioux (8) Produced an average effort last time out, she is capable over this course and distance, and should once again be competitive. Sunset Boulevard (11) Ran third when last seen on the racecourse, she now steps up to a mile, and it will be interesting to see how she handles the rise in trip. Trevi Fountain (7) raised a fair gallop in her latest racetrack appearance, but she was disappointing in her last effort over the mile, where she should of done a lot better than she did, having said that, she is certainly capable of being competitive here.

RACE 5 WWW.RACINGITSARUSH.CO.ZA FM 74 HANDICAP (FILLIES & MARES) - 1800 METERS. 14:20 PM.

Selections 1-3-6-8

Over Achiever (1) Has run two very good races recently, finishing second and fourth respectively, the 1400 was way too short last time out, but he still finished a creditable 3 lengths adrift of the winner, he will be far more at home over the 9 furlong trip, he the horse to beat. Duchess Catherine (3) Is as honest as the day is long, she has placed in her last two starts, this mare has no issues with this trip, and she should be very competitive once again. Likeness (6) Faced a lot stronger in her latest racetrack appearance, she more than capable of producing her best in this type of class and has no issues with the trip. Queen Delta (8) produced some lovely runs on the Greyville Polytrack, and she should produce a decent enough debut at Flamingo Park.

RACE 6 SOCCER 13 XTRA MR 76 HANDICAP - 1800 METTERS. 14.50 PM

Selections 7-3-2-10

Consider The Cat (7) Has proven himself to be a very nice horse on the Flamingo Park sand, he ran on smartly for second last time out, and could go one better here. Ford Country (3) Was a winner on his last appearance on the racecourse, and he can mount another serious challenge here. Rocket Falls (2) Has earned a cheque at each of his last three starts, he was hardly disgraced in his latest racetrack appearance, and he should yet again be involved in the finish. Shades Of Silence (10) produced a moderate effort in his last outing, but he is capable of performing over this course and distance, and should not be discounted.

RACE 7 RACING ASSOCIATION FM 64 HANDICAP (FILLIES & MARES) - 1000 METERS. 15:25 PM.

Selections 1-3-4-7

Jewel Quest (1) Looks the one to beat here, based on two solid victories at this course and a fair performance at a much stronger centre last time out. Variety Spirit (3) May have to once again play second fiddle, having been runner up in her last two starts, but she will get the top selection the most cheek. Rhythm In Red (4) Must be excused for her latest effort, that may have been too far for her, expect a much better performance from her over this trip. Zilox (4) Produced a moderate effort in her latest racetrack appearance, she was not beaten very far at all, and she should give an honest account of herself here.

RACE 8 BOOK A TABLE 0116811702 MR 78 HANDICAP - 1400 METERS.  15:55 PM.

Selections 4-5-2-3

Pigeon Flyer (4) Has always been a horse loaded with ability, and potential. He scored a good win last time out over the Flamingo Park 1200, and he will have no issues with the rise in trip. Triumvirate (5) Was a runner up over this course and distance two starts back, the mile may not have suited him in his last two outings, and he should do a lot better over the 1400. Rich Approval (2) Ran a game second when last seen on the racecourse, he is more than capable over this course and distance, and will be involved in the finish. KingOfMountain (3) ran a very good fourth last time out against much stronger, the concern however is that the 1400 may just find him out, but with that said he will still be very competitive.

RACE 9 NEXT FLAMINGO PARK MEETING IS MONDAY 29 AUG FM 62 HANDICAP (FILLIES & MARES) - 1400 METERS. 16:25 PM.

Selections 2-3-10-7

White Feather (2) Was just beaten last time out, she is in very good nick at the moment, and should go very close here. Queen Of Rock (3) may have found the mile to far on her last racetrack appearance, the Flamingo Park 1400 will suit her a lot better. Narmada (10) has been disappointing lately, but with that said she produced a decent run two starts back, and should she reproduce that effort, she will be competitive in this event. Ms Holly GoLightly made a decent start to her post maiden career in her last outing, she can certainly go one better than that fifth and can round of trifectas and quartets in the lucky last at Flamingo.
