Race 1

Alsflamingbeauty was well beaten when second to Miss Calypso which is the standout form in this race. One to beat. Piere Striker Strydom is in the irons. Boeing City was behind the first selection and is the second choice. Watch the first timers for placings who could be in the betting.

Race 2

Too many first timers to make an accurate selection. But Ticket Holder just missed out last time out when second by short head. Jurist is likely the best of the rest of the raced runners followed by Wild Rendezvous who is well tried but hasn't gotten over the line yet. Could be the same here.

Race 3

Wishful Words ran two cracking races over the minimum trip and will be hard to beat, Strydom onboard. Little Audrey should improve from that fifth first time out. Expect more now. Southern Dynasty interestingly drops in trip after losing ground at the start last time. Watch for major improvement.

Race 4

Lyle Hewitson had the plumb ride of the race onboard Prince Charming who was only two lengths off last time out. One to beat. Rebel Circus had consistent form but is well exposed, place chance. Pot Luck disappointed last time out after a nice penultimate. Place chance.

Race 5

Borya could have the beating of Anthony Hotspur on weights based on their previous run together, on assumption that Anthony Hotspur hasn't improved much. Borya was second twice in two starts and is in prime form. Anthony Hotspur is the second choice. Sir Bernardini was close in his last for starts. Carries top weight but is the class of the race.

Race 6
Kzn Oaks Gr. 3

Raya Baya, a 20/1 shot, had some interesting and exciting form over the 2000m trip at Greyville last time out. It was decent run behind Oh Susanna and that form is good enough in this field. Flichity By Farr ran an eye popping race behind Secret Portion in the Oaks last time out. Nice form. Big chance. Girl On The Run had been closer up behind some of the best offer the extra distance. But the weight could stop her. Big runner though.

Race 7

American Landing was superb in the East Cape Derby last time out when beating rivals with ease. Progressive type and could be anything. It's My Turn could come back to his best form and win a finest like this but he is more likely to run a decent place. One to watch though. Never far off. Mr Winsome hasnt been at how best of late. Could place if coming back to some form.

Race 8

Mysterious Omen ran a cracker behind a nice type and could be the right one here. The form of that race is solid. Leslies Pathtofame has been ultra consistent in many of his starts but looks held by the first selection. Roman comes back to sprinting which could result in a decent run. Place chance.

Race 9

Autumn Rain was just touched off last time out and with the 4kg claimer is the right one here. Trust In Gold should be the improver in the pack after a good run last time out when likely going for a run. Chance. Flexible Fugitive has consistent enough form to place again. He had been well beaten and is well tried. Place chance again.
