Mumtaz ran a cracker first time out for Snaith. Should improve naturally, enjoys the soft. Winter Five was in front of the first selection and is in fine form running second twice in two starts. Crowded Horse was close last time improving nice from her first two efforts.

Race 2
7-3-1
Speed Of Africa's form to Strathdon is a eye catcher but has been off for a long time. Has won off a layoff before. Down in trip but full of class. A New Dawn is lightly raced but won a nice race last time out. Front runner. Master's Eye was a decent running on 7th last time out not beaten far in a distance well short of his best. Weight is off too.

Race 3
5-3-1
Santa Clara was beaten by Coral Bay last time out at level weights. Could turn the form around and is favoured to. Helen's Ideal was super impressive in the maiden win and should go close here. Coral Bay for third after that minor feature win.

Race 4
2-1-13

Charles was one of the nicest juvenile winners in the Cape this season and looks hard to oppose here. Classy looking horse. One World was impressive when winning the minor feature last time out looks a nice type. The maiden has run some excellent races to day with three second in four starts. Weight advantage.

Race 5
1-2-3

Lady Of The House is the class of this event and if anywhere near fit. She will be right there. Won one of the countries sleading feature events last year. Rested. Call To Account won last time out and has very nice form. Place chance. Brave Move has been progressive to date and won her last four races. Very well placed so far. Up in class here.

Race 6
1-2-3

Fresnaye won nicely last time out and looks a nice type of filly. Has been near all the best of 3 yo generation, both colts and Fillies. Big runner. Intothelimelight was well beaten by the first selection and has decent form. Dynasty's Blossom in highly consistent and never far off. Should be right there.

Race 7
1-2-4
Doublemint has been all around top horse Rainbow Bridge and should have the beating of this Derby field. Ancestry also has the Rainbow Bridge form and should be right. Spring Man is also in great form and from the same formline. Should be a nice race.

Race 8
4-7-8

Cavalleria win in smart style last time out when losing many lengths at the start. Always seems to get left and if she jumps on terms, she is a top bet. Up in the MR now from 52 to 67. Big jump. Symphony was excellent last time out when second and seems to be off a nice mark. Flash Fire has the Cavalleria form but isn't weighted close enough to beat the first selection.

Race 9
1-5-4

Power Grid is the class of the race and the run to Tevez in a quality field should be good enough to win here. Bwana is an up and coming sprinter and looks a nice type in the making. Ready Steady Go was unlucky not to win last time and must have a good chance here.
