COPPER MOON (Joey Ramsden/Glen Hatt) made a moderate debut last time but should improve. VILLA DE LARGO (Justin Snaith/Felix Coetzee) also made a moderate debut last time. Look for improvement. FORT BUKLOH showed a seventeen length improvement last time. Respect. The first timer, TAXI MAN could be worth considering.

MAMSELLE DU BARRY (Justin Snaith/Felix Coetzee) makes her debut. Keep an eye on the betting. ROSITA TIBBS (Vaughan Marshall/MJ Byleveld) has been improving with each run. Stayed on last time. Other first timers to consider are FOR THE COUNT (Mike Bass/Aldo Domeyer) and AUGUSTA NATIONAL (Justin Snaith). WOMAN IN LOVE improved by eleven lengths last time. Respect this one.

FREDDY'S SISTER (Joey Ramsden/Glen Hatt) has raced four times for three seconds and a third. Two places at this track. OUR DIZZY EMBLEM (Justin Snaith/Felix Coetzee) has the form to win. Has placed this C& D. OUR WAY (Vaughan Marshall) has placed five times either second or third from only eight starts. Did not show in her only start at this track. ATTRACT THE CROWD improved by over forty lengths last time. Worth some interest. The first timer MISS ITALY could run a place.

IN FULL FLO (Grant Kotzen/Grant Van Niekerk)  would have won last time had she not lost a length at the start. Should go all the way this afternoon. RUBY SUNSET has a distinct liking for the track. One to consider. WILD LILI (Darryl Hodgson) improved by over six lengths last time. Was running on over shorter. First time this far. Should prefer the extra. GIBRALTAR EXPRESS (Joey Ramsden/Glen Hatt) improved by almost ten lengths in her second run last time. Respect. JENNY BLACK could have a squeak, for places at least.

MAGIC EMBLEM (Joey Ramsden) ran his best race last time when finishing well over 1400m at this track. May improve even further this afternoon. THE HELSMAN (Joey Ramsden/Glen Hatt) has also been improving with each run. Watch for further improvement. HURRICAN CHARLEY (Vaughan Marshall/MJ Byleveld) has steady form. Runs for the twenty fourth time. Best distance but has not shown in his only run at this track. KASNER has been losing form. Place chance at best. The balance make little or no appeal. TITAN IT UP JACK could be best of the balance.

RACE 6:MR 89 Hcp 1600m Bend

MYSTERY DAME takes a drop in class. Has fair form at this track  Finds extra late and should go close. M'LORDS THROAT (Justin Snaith/Felix Coetzee) has very good and consistent form. The blinkers go on and these could make a difference. SUPER SEVEN (Greg Ennion/MJ Byleveld) has faced stronger, especially in his last three. Has only 54kg to carry. GRASP YOUR DESTINY (Mike Bass/Karl Neisius) is never too far back. SPY GLASS (Grant Kotzen/Grant Van Niekerk) is also never too far back and could go home with a small cheque.

RACE 7:MR 75 Hcp 1600m Bend

DAS BESTE (Mike Bass/Bernard Fayd'Herbe) takes a big drop in class. Has not run for three months. Has placed this C & D and could have the beating of this field. COUNT MY LUCK won well over the distance at Kenilworth last time and against slightly stronger. Ran on really well that day. Has also won and placed this C & D. BAD NEWS MEEUWS (Justin Snaith/Felix Coetzee) is another who ran on strongly to win last time. That was his last KZN run, back in April. May need the run. Has changed stables and makes his Cape Town debut. COPA DE LA REY is always capable of finishing in the money. TIBISI has a chance with only 54kg on his back.

CE LOIRE (Joey Ramsden/Glen Hatt) drops in class. Has won this C & D. Has been fading lately over 1600m. The 1400m should suit. There are some low weighted horses that could make their presence felt. They also rise in class. PAMELA SUE (Greg Ennion/MJ Byleveld) has shown good improvement in her last two. Finished strongly to win last time. AZANIAH has Karl Neisius aboard and she did run a promising post maiden last time. PETARA (Justin Snaith/Felix Coetzee) won impressively last time. Will improve. Takes on far stronger. May need to confirm. GENTEEL APPROACH (Joey Ramsden) is improving.

On form PASADERA should have a good chance. Has been consistent in similar company. WINGS OF FORTUNE loves this C & D and must also have a good chance on form which has been very good. GIRL'S BEST FRIEND ran her post maiden in a juvenile feature race last time. Finished a decent fourth that day. Respect. BONIFACE was running on last time when showing good improvement. Place chance. BLUSHING GREY has been improving.
