Rathmor Stud, in KwaZulu-Natal, breeders of international G1 winner and South African flagbearer GYPSY'S WARNING, have acquired the highly-rated multiple Graded Stakes-winning, exceptionally-bred, and well-related NOBLE TUNE (USA) for stud purposes.

On the verge of making his 2014 debut, negotiations were entered into following NOBLE TUNE's bullet 58.55 seconds, 5 furlong workout, in mid-February – and, with training being backed-off pending the deal closing, it was decided to retire NOBLE TUNE with immediate effect – so that he can commence being 'let down' in preparation for his new career as a stallion in South Africa. He is scheduled to arrive in the country in early June.

NOBLE TUNE (USA) is by Unbridled's Song – Serena's Cat by Storm Cat. He is the first foal of his Stakes Winning dam – whose second foal is the highly-rated G2 Stakes Winning 3-year-old HONOR CODE. His granddam is a Stakes Winning and multiple Stakes-producing daughter of Champion and former world's highest-stakes-earning filly, and Racing Hall of Fame inductee, SERENA'S SONG (18 wins and over USD 3 million). 

NOBLE TUNE (USA) has 4 wins including American Turf S.-G2 and Pilgrim S.-G3, in 7 starts, with earnings of USD 492,222. Placed 2 nd in Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf-G1.
