The TBA confirmed today that Tom Callaghan has resigned as CEO to pursue other interests and the terms of his departure, with effect from the 19th of May 2014, have been amicably agreed.

"The TBA wish Mr Callaghan well in his future endeavours. Jan Naude, Acting CEO, and his managment and staff will work to ensure that business continues as usual at the TBA, " said TBA chair Susan Rowett in a statement. 

Callaghan spoke to SAHorseracing.COM suggesting that he had been contemplating an entry into a family business for some time. We wish him well.
