ENCHANTED BAY showed good improvement in her second start last time when making her track debut. MISS PIUS has had two moderate runs. May improve. HEART OF WINTER has only placed this C & D. PAREE is one to watch for improvement.

SHOWMETHEWAY won well in a similar field last time. That was his track debut. Effective this trip. ISOBAR raids from Gauteng. Won on his only visit to this track on July Day. KINGSTON BOY ran on well to win this C & D last time. Chance if repeating. DIAMOND KING will be running on and has faced stronger. INSPECTOR CASEY has fair form and will be finding a good finish.
1st – SHOWMETHEWAY (357/100) (1); 2nd – ISOBAR (4); 3rd – KINGSTON BOY (9/4 F) (2); 4th - DIAMOND KING (6); 5th – INSPECTOR CASEY (5)

WHITE CHRISTMAS makes his debut. Check the canter past as well as the betting. NATIONAL APPROVAL showed huge improvement last time. Has been knocking at the door for a while now. SNOWMAN has stayed on in both starts and could be the swinger to go WHITE CHRISTMAS. KING JAY ran on well this C & D for a close third. Yard in very good form. CANADIAN CLUB tends to weaken but in ante post favourite.
1st – WHITE CHRISTMAS (4/1) (12); 2nd – NATIONAL APPROVAL (6); 3rd – SNOWMAN (10); 4th - KING JAY (2); 5th – CANADIAN CLUB (286/100 F) (4)

SILVER INSPIRATION showed a return to life with a vastly improved run last time. Ran on last time. Encouraging run. TENDERWOOD has largely moderate form in eleven starts but Anthony Delpech has the ride. PIECE OF POPPY has not shown with the blinkers. They will come off today. Appropriately named for November. Watch! NATIONAL CHIMES was moderate on debut last time. Alumites fitted this afternoon. Has to improve. LA GITANO has had two moderate runs but last effort decidedly better.

RACE 5
LA PRIMA ran his best race in five at this course last time. Still have my reservations as trainer and jockey have been quiet of late. VARANESE disappointed when backed on debut last time. Another chance, perhaps? Yard in good form. GOLDEN EARRINGS was heavily backed in last time but she too did not show on debut. But consider all the same. HURRICANE NELL has steady form but weakens. TURBO TORCH improved on the polytrack last time.
1st – LA PRIMA (33/10 JF) (5); 2nd – VARANESE (11); 3rd – GOLDEN EARRINGS (8); 4th - HURRICANE NELL (33/10 JF) (4); 5th – TURBO TORCH (3)

RACE 6
SHOES 'N COMPANY drops in class and ran on for third this C & D last time. Looks to be a good value place bet at least. LIVE CONTROVERSY has the form to win. Has had six runs on the polytrack for one win, three seconds and two very close up fourths. On that form he is the one to beat. CHILL is also never far back and will benefit from the 4kg apprentice claim. SAMHAAN has lost form but may improve this track. TUSCAN drops in class. May improve with the stable switch. Fair form this track.
1st – SHOES 'N COMPANY (66/10) (2); 2nd – LIVE CONTROVERSY (9/4 F) (3); 3rd – CHILL (6); 4th - SAMHAAN (4); 5th – TUSCAN (1)

RACE 7 (TURF)
This race will be run on turf. ASSEGAI stayed on well last time. Should give another very good account of himself. GO WEST MCGRAW should be more effective over this trip. CRIME VICTIM showed immense improvement last time on the polytrack. DOUBLE CLUTCH could be improving again. Won his maiden this C & D. WILDCAT RISING did run on late last time. Did not show in his only run this track.

RACE 8 (TURF)
This race will be run on the turf. INNATE QUALITY ran well in a small feature last time. Has the ability to win this. Ran on strongly last time. ROYAL COLOURS took eleven runs to win his maidens but since that he has won all five starts in a row. Continues to rise in class and has to be respected once again. Two wins have been this track. LEBEOANA travels this distance for the first time. Won well over 2000m last time at this track. NORDIC JET drops in class and has placed in both starts this C & D. Weakens though. GOOD IDEA rises in class but has decent form.
1st – INNATE QUALITY (357/100) (1); 2nd – ROYAL COLOURS (3/1 F) (3); 3rd – LEBEOANA (5); 4th - NORDIC JET (2); 5th – GOOD IDEA (9)
