TrĂªve to return better from layoff

Criquette Head-Maarek reports Treve to be stronger than ever following her winter break at the Haras du Quesnay stud in Normandy.
The dual Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winner is back in training at Head-Maarek's stables in Chantilly after her owner Sheikh Joaan Al Thani took the sporting decision to continue her racing career in 2015 instead of retiring her to the paddocks.
Treve will have a light campaign starting in the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud in late June followed by the Prix Vermeille at Longchamp in September, with the Arc on October 4 being the ultimate objective.
"She's been back since last week. We've had the cold weather, so she's doing two hack canters day. She's fine and doing very well,"said Head-Maarek.
"She's had a good break. She's very good and is stronger than last year.
"She will go for the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud in late June. That will be her first race, then the Vermeille and the Arc.
"It's fun she's staying in training."
