EXCITING MAMBO WELL REPRESENTED AT VAL DE VIE


Moutonshoek’s exciting young stallion Mambo In Seattle is one of the most exciting young sires currently standing at stud in South Africa.
The blue blooded son of world leading sire Kingmambo (whose half brother Judpot is another strongly represented at the Val De Vie Sale) made a stunning start to his stud career, with his first runners including the Grade 1 winning millionaire Same Jurisdiction.
Out of an own sister to US sire legend A P Indy, Mambo In Seattle has had 17 first crop winners to date.
This tally includes not only Same Jurisdiction, but the highly rated Saratoga Dancer, smart stakes filly Mystic Express, and brilliant debut winner Revealed.
Mambo In Seattle’s second crop, now two, are already off the mark, with the impressive Mambonick winning as she liked second time out.

Lot 19 is a half brother to 4 winners, including the brilliant Met day winner Triptique. His winning dam is a half sister to two stakes horses, and his second dam won the Gr1 Paddock Stakes.
Lot 31 is a filly out of a two time winning mare, by Mambo’s close relative Al Mufti. From a prolific Australasian family, this filly is intensely inbred to tap root mare Lassie Dear.
Lot 43 is a colt who is from the famed Party Time family, this family’s numerous stars included July hero Trademark and last season’s Equus Champion In The Fast Lane.
Lot 61 is a half sister to two winners, out of a half sister to lightning fast Aussie 2yo Magic Heaven.
Lot 73 is a colt out of a half sister to Champion Sprinter Texan Summer, from the family of outstanding filly Diorissimo.
Lot 96 is a filly out of a winning daughter of world leading sire and broodmare sire Red Ransom, damsire of exciting local sire and Canadian champion Marchfield, amongst others.
